from one of rock's biggest icons!Showcasing the incredible style and iconic sound Eddie Van Halen is so famous for, EVH’s Wolfgang WG Standard features everything a guitar needs to reach legendary status with iconic tone and playability.
The gorgeous Wolfgang WG Standard features a basswood body with a special ‘comfort cut’ forearm contour for unhindered playing, alongside a classy gloss black finish. The bolt-on baked maple neck with graphite reinforcement rods remain strong against the ravages of temperature and humidity, whilst a well-placed spoke wheel at the base of the neck makes for rapid and simple truss rod adjustments.
Carefully designed for comfortable playability and speed, this stunning axe also sports an oiled neck back finish and a 12”-16” compound radius baked maple fingerboard with rolled edges, 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays.
There’s dual EVH Wolfgang humbucking pickups mounted direct on to the body to boost vibration transfer, resulting in sustain for days on end. A pair of black knurled control knobs have been dialled-in to EVH’s exact specifications, they feel smooth to the touch and the 500k pots make it simple to dial in a unique sound of your own. Of course, any EVH guitar has to feature a Floyd Rose and this guitar is no exception to the rule, the Wolfgang WG Standard features an EVH branded Floyd Rose Special bridge and R2 locking nut consistently keep the guitar in tune, even throughout the wildest divebombs!

EVH-BRANDED FLOYD ROSE
SPECIAL LOCKING TREMEddie Van Halen was the first player to popularize the innovative Floyd Rose locking tremolo, even advising Floyd Rose on his early designs to integrate round disc finger-type tuners that you would see on a cello or violin.
HEEL-MOUNT TRUSS ROD
ADJUSTMENT SPOKE WHEELHumidity and temperature fluctuations wreak havoc on a guitar’s neck. With the truss rod adjustment wheel placed at the heel of the neck, you (or your guitar tech) can quickly insert a 1.5 mm Allen wrench between the strings for seamless neck relief tweaks on the fly.
BASSWOOD BODY IN
GLOSS BLACKThe ultra-light and comfortable basswood body produces muscly midrange tones. Aside from its comfortability, the basswood provides a full, resonant tone that is quite similar to alder. The Gloss Black finish give this Wolfgang WG Standard modern aesthetic destined for the stage.
