Product Overview The HYBRID cooler for the GeForce GTX 1080/1070 is an "all in one" water cooling solution that significantly lowers the GPU operating temperature. Best of all? The water cooler is completely self-contained, with an included 120mm radiator and fan. No filling, no custom tubing, no maintenance. Just plug in and play! This upgrade kit is compatible with all "reference" GeForce GTX 1080/1070 graphics cards. Features • All in one cooling solution that is completely self-contained. No filling, no custom tubing, no maintenance. Just plug and play.
• Intelligent wiring system and sleeved tubing make this one sleek cooler without the messy wires.
• Variable controlled fans allow dynamic fan speed based on GPU temperature, and the water cooling efficiency means very low noise fans.

EVGA GTX 1080/1070 Hybrid Waterblock Cooler, All-In-One, 120mm Rad., For Reference GeForce GTX 1080/1070 Graphics Cards is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent kit that can be modified to fit Titan x Excellent quality kit that works well. I followed the gamers nexus guide to adapt the kit to fit the pascal titan x. With the card overclocked @ 2100MHz temps stay below 50c

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does exactly what it says on the tin ! All in all this is a great product. I have a GTX 1080 founders which runs very hot under standard cooling ( average temp under load and 4K was 84c ) after I put the EVGA water block I went down to 36-40c under the same load, so for that reason it got full stars, unfortunately the surround is plastic and was a little awkward to fit in places. Overall very happy chappie :0) .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great cooler, not great instructions I put this cooler on my founders edition 1070 after not being impressed with the noise and temps I was getting with the FE blower cooler. The cooler is a quality bit of kit and comes with everything I needed. It even had extra screws for the backplate which was nice as these are very small and easy to damage if you aren't careful. One major problem with this kit is the included instructions are completely useless as they didn't seem to be for the same kit. Instructions asked to cut and manually place thermal pads on vrms and memory but these were all pre-applied to the cooler anyway? I ended up completely ignoring the instructions and just watched a video on how to fit the hybrid cooler to a 980ti on EVGA's channel which wasn't too different. Being the first time I've ever taken apart a gpu it took me a while to do, but i'd say it's dooable if you've built your own pc. Performance wise it's very impressive, idle temps of around 25c and under load I haven't seen anything more than around 45c One other slight complaint is that the rad fan doesn't have pwm control which would've been nice. Overall it's a great bit of kit, slightly let down by lack of instructions and cheaper radiator fan.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product is complicated and only for experienced users After ordering this product for my gtx 1070 (msi) founders edition. I was please with the final temperature. 45 degrees under load. What I did not enjoy was the difficult installation process with useless instructions. At no point did they explain how to remove the old cooler. Or that the cooler uses two hole screws (the screws that hold down back plate screw into the screws that hold cooler down). This caused a tremendous amount of annoyance and resulted me having to call nvidia customer service. In order to figure it out. And there was some mild buzzing from the water block that took a few weeks to disappear. But other than some teething issues. The cooler works fine and means a rock solid overclock ((runs at 2.1 GHz). Would only recommend for experienced users

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quite gaming, quite a novelty! Added this to a GTX 1080 mainly 'cos the hybrid model what, as seems to be the norm with EVGA, not made available on the date they said it would. Very simple to fit, the instructions are superb. The box contains everything you need and everything fits perfectly. Once installed, the pump sound is just noticeable, and does not really vary in tone much even when under extreme load and stress testing. The cooling fan in the unit, used mainly to cool memory etc. is just about silent. Must of the sound from my PC now comes from the Corsair H100i radiator fans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tricky but worth it I installed this on a 1080 KFA reference model (with the blue cooler). before this was installed the card was running at 85C and throttling its power to 65% to attempt to control this temp. Post install I am running overclocked by 250mhz and at 110% power. The card now remains under 60C and is more stable, wins all around. The install is tricky and was more stressful than a full PC build, likely as this was something I hadn't done before. This is a great intro into watercooling GPU's, the unit performs fantastically and its nice and quiet. Would recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vague Instructions, But Quality Hardware As You Expect From EVGA Using the EVGA 1080 Superclocked variant, was not happy with the temps it was putting out sometimes well over 80c! Now the hybrid doesn't go over 50c ever! (See Pics) Using a industrial 2000PWM noctua fan on radiator as I have them throughout and wanted to keep the same (The dogs B fan wise btw) Also the fan connector only supports 3 pin not 4 pin easily modified but just something to think about The actual putting together of it was rather simple however the guide misses some screws and the pack includes screws for near every other hybrid they release ie 980ti, 680 I think I saw. EVGA need to address this as it might confuse people and needlessly waste time. The only flaw I see on the whole thing is the fan cable has not really got any kind of clip to you can easily route the cable back without trapping it and keeping the back heatsink clear, it's a minor thing but still Fan Links Official Site (http://noctua.at/en/nf-f12-industrialppc-2000-pwm) Scan's Link (https://www.scan.co.uk/products/120mm-noctua-nf-f12-industrialppc-2000rpm-high-performance-fan)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does exactly what I expected it to do. I've used this to replace the reference Nvidia blower cooler on my founders edition 1080. Whilst the swap was a little fiddly and the instructions are vague at best (feels like it's been poorly translated, and misses a few steps/screws) it is enough to work out what you need to do. Upon using the card with the new cooler, my temps are much lower, maxing to it at about 50c with a 65% fan speed. This is at clocks that hover between 2086-2114 MHz but mostly sit at 2101 MHz. It's very quiet, especially coming from the reference cooler. All in all I'm perfectly happy with this purchase. It's a little steep, price wise, but that's the price I pay for jumping on the 1080 train early I suppose.

Is it only for reference cards

Could this be used for cards made from other companies and not the FE or reference cards but what the companies own gtx 1080s?

Will it fit Titan X Pascal?

Just curious, if this Hybrid conversion will fit recently released Titan X Pascal card? Many other custom cooling solutions fits both 1080 and Titan XP, but can't find confirmation anywhere on this yet.

Would this fit a MSI GeForce GTX 1070 AERO 8G ?

If not, are there any all-in-one solutions for that graphics card?
