New PC Gaming Era with iCX Tech
Experience 9 GPU Thermal Sensors & Multiple MCUs
After the ACX 3.0 cooler vas verified to operate within spec on Power and Memory section from independent third party testing, EVGA determined that on an enthusiast graphics card, one thermal sensor just wasn't enough. On an enthusiast graphics card, equal importance should be given to the Power and Memory, not just focused on the GPU. This type of thinking required a drastic change in the way thermal management is performed on a graphics card.
EVGA Embedded RGB LED
EVGAs Adjustable RGB LED On GTX 1080
With selected versions of the EVGA GTX 1080 your gaming GPU will have LEDs embedded within it. This RGB LED will allow you complete control over the colour that shines through your 1080 card. This is made possible through the use of EVGAs PrecisionX OC! Customize your GPU to match or clash with your PC lighting - either way add more style to your gaming rig with the EVGA 1080.
1080 GPU Smart Fans
Efficient Graphics Card Cooling with Asynchronus Fans
Make use of a new way of cooling your card through EVGA's technologies, reducing fan noise and improving cooling efficiency. The GPU fan is determined by the temperature of the GPU (left fan) while the Power/Memory fan is determined by the power/memory temperature (right fan). This means they can work separately of each other minimizing power needed and maximizing their efficiency.
Plus, the cooling system performance can be read with a single galnce at the iCX card. Users can customize the RGB colour and visual alarm sttings to their preference.
Precision XOC Enthusiast GPU Tech
Full GPU Control For the Enthusiast in you
Each of the iCX's thermal sensors can be monitored in real time and displayed through PXOC OSD. This genius technology will grant you the power to take control over the VGA/Power fans simultaneously or asynchronously - make your choice and make your changes!
Protective Gaming Graphics Card
Have peace of mind when gaming with the icx SC2
Baseplate & Backplate - All vital components inside the GPU make direct contact with these stylish and protective components, helping with such things as heat dissipation and structure rigidity. The Baseplate also has interlaced Pin Fins to help further its efforts.
Fin Design - Fin holes direct the airflow through different types of fins. Half open fins are there to maximize airflow while the L-shaped fins increase surface contact, maximizing the heat dissipation through utilising an increased surface area on the Baseplate.
Ball Bearings - Each fan features double ball-bearings with a 4x longer lifespan and a lower power consumption motor, meaning more power for your GPU - play longer and overclock better!
Fuse Tech - This fuse can only be found on EVGA GPUs. The exclusive fuse adds yet another layer of protection to your graphics card and therefore you PC system as a whole.
EVGA Components Interaction
Sync and unify computer components
Utilise the iCX card from EVGA and revel in their synchronization technology. This tech will allow you to sync your gaming graphics card to your EVGA CPU Cooler and more!
