Passive speakers for indoor and outdoor use Sold as a pair, Electrovoice’s EVID 4.2 is a passive 2-way loudspeaker expertly designed for voice amplification and background/foreground audio playback in venues such as small clubs, restaurants and retail outlets. The EVID 4.2 also acts as a superb garden/patio loudspeaker system due to its highly weather-resistant design and its magnetic shiedling. Each of the EVID 4.2’s is equipped with twin 4” woofers alongside a 1” titanium tweeter, capable of a frequency range of 65Hz - 20kH and a running program power capacity of up to 200W once driven by a compatible 8-ohm power amp.

Thanks to the inclusion of full-bandwidth overload protection, this promises reliable operation without additional external circuitry. The standard Euroblock connector ensures quick, simple and secure wiring. The EVID 4.2 also boasts a durable, paintable ABS enclosure with a zinc-coated grille to protect all internal components. The included SAM (Strong-Arm-Mount) accommodates multiple mounting positions, and allows for a high degree of horizontal and vertical directivity.
