Product Overview EK-XTOP Revo Dual D5 PWM Serial is a fourth generation high-performance aftermarket DUAL pump top (volute) for D5 type water pumps. The EK-XTOP Revo Dual D5 PWM Serial comes pre-installed with two (2) EK-D5 PWM water pumps operating in series.

Using two water pumps in series provides almost twice the head pressure of a single water pump and also guarantees top safety measure - in the case of one pump fails the remaining one will provide sufficient liquid flow to prevent any hardware damage due to overheating. Additionally, there is no downtime until next scheduled maintenance. PWM control allows for automatic pump speed regulation depending on your CPU temperature. Full performance on demand or whisper quiet operation in idle mode!

The main body (top) is nested between two special rubber shock absorbers that were previously designed from the ground up and are one of the main features of the Revo series of products. This system features a fully rounded design, thus offering greater usability, allowing installation at any angle within 360° of rotation. Furthermore, these rubber shock absorbers are used to de-couple the main pump body from the mounting clip for silent operation, free of vibration induced noise.

This product features three G1/4 threaded ports which allow for installation of virtually any G1/4 thread fitting / barb. EK recommends EK-ACF series Compression fittings / adapters.

The top is made of quality POM Acetal material, while the tightening nuts are made from CNC machined aluminum. Mounting clamps are made from injection molded ABS. Mounting mechanism with two mounting plates for installing the unit on a 120mm or 140mm fan and easy-to-follow installation guide are enclosed. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful if a bit chunky Bought this to finally have a decent Pump in my system. The pumps integrated into my Alphacool CPU and GPU blocks are not that reliable and after replacing 2 and having the same problems I bought a £10 fish tank pump that worked well enough to have the Alphacool pumps bump start into life. Due to the amount of leakage on the Fish Tank pump, i was having to top off every other Week about 300ml of water. The EK-XTop Revo Dual D5, is certainly better suited to the task and has a lot of flow and pressure... so much so after doing some Folding@Home the loop temperature got too close to 70c and the outlet hose started coming out of the fitting (the hose had deformed due to heat.) The Revo Dual is absolutely silent until around 50% power when it starts to hum as loud as a fan, at 80%+ you will hear it vibrate a lot. But considering the fans are also at full power its not as bad. This came with a 120mm fan bracket to mount the pump however it would have to be either a sidepanel fan or a bottom fan on most cases as the pump is a bit wider. I had hoped to fit it to my 5.25 bay fan mount but its too wide and instead i have velcro taped the bracket feet to the top of my PSU. (Any leaks currently run off either side of the PSU avoiding any wires.) Would definitely recommend, but it is clear I need a case with better radiator mounting positions as my current case is too restrictive.
