Multi-Socket Server Cooling
The Dynatron L3 is a compact cooling solution for 1U servers and above, supporting a wide range of Intel® and AMD® processor sockets. Compatibility includes Intel LGA2011 and LGA2066 with Square ILM mounting, LGA1365/1366, LGA115X/1200/1700, plus AMD AM4/AM5, FM2+/FM2, AM2/AM2+, AM3/AM3+ and FM1.
Compact Cooling
The L3 combines a copper-base cold plate with a lightweight, space-saving radiator, making it well suited to compact server chassis. A standalone water pump provides a flow rate of 1.7 litres per minute, while a pair of 30 cm black EPDM tubes connects the cooling components.
High-Speed PWM Fans
Cooling is handled by 40 mm fans with four-pin PWM connectors, using dual-ball bearings and a 12V rated voltage. Fan speed ranges from 3,300 ± 10% RPM at 20% duty cycle to 5,700 ± 10% RPM at 50% and 12,000 ± 10% RPM at 100%, providing increased airflow as cooling demand rises.
Airflow and Pressure
At 20% duty cycle, the fans deliver 5.92 CFM airflow and 1.73 mm-H2O air pressure. At 50%, these figures rise to 10.23 CFM and 5.17 mm-H2O, reaching 21.53 CFM and 22.91 mm-H2O at full duty cycle.
Power and Noise
Fan power consumption ranges from 0.72 W at 20% duty cycle to 1.56 W at 50% and 8.40 W at 100%. Acoustical noise is rated at 25.9 dBA, 37.8 dBA and 54.0 dBA at the same duty-cycle levels.
Ready for High-TDP Processors
The L3 supports CPU TDPs of up to 250W and above, making it suitable for performance-focused server configurations where processor cooling is a key consideration. Shin-Etsu thermal compound is pre-printed onto the cold plate, and mounting accessories are included for installation.
