DPA DDK4000 Drum Microphone Kit
DPA - DDK4000 Drum Microphone Kit, Natural and Precise Sound Reproduction of the Entire Kit
Drum Microphone Kit
DPA - DDK4000
complete drum microphone kitThe DPA DDK4000 drum microphone kit features selection of mics designed specifically to put the sound engineer in control of the sound. By starting with the clear, true sound of the entire kit, the engineer has the best starting point to shape the right sound required for the situation. These mics ensure a natural and precise sound reproduction of the entire kit. The specific mic placements prevent artefacts, bleed and other shadowing effects.

2012 Compact Cardioid Microphone
An all-around generalist pencil micThe 2012 can be used as an all-around microphone in applications where dynamic microphones are commonly used. As a condenser mic, it has several advantages over its dynamic counterparts.
This mic can capture higher frequencies, has an extended frequency range and a flat frequency response – all in a smaller form factor.
It can handle high SPLs whilst still capturing very delicate sounds, so it works well on many different instruments. It also has a far better transient response than any dynamic microphone, which allows it to pick up the most delicate sound with incredible accuracy.
2015 Compact Wide Cardioid Microphone
Uniform wide cardioid directionalityThe 2015 is a wide cardioid overhead microphone for ambient pick up of a drum kit or other instrument groups.
The 2015 can be positioned close to the drum kit (i.e., over the cymbals) and still capture sound evenly across the full drum kit. This closer position results in stronger signal from the drum kit and therefore less bleed from the stage.
4055 Kick Drum Microphone
shape the sound your wayThis is a flexible, professional mic that captures the power and true sound of the kick drum, when placed inside or outside the drum. The 4055 is one of the only kick drum mics that is not sonically pre-tailored to fit a traditional sound in a specific genre.
Featuring low frequency response and dynamics are superb and result in a tight, natural, well-defined sound, providing the best low-end with detailed mids and highs.
4099 Instrument Microphone
Superior gain-before-feedbackThe 4099 perfectly captures the booming sounds of drums and percussion instruments. The mic can be easily positioned to fit diverse types of drums and excel on the snare, toms and hi-hats.
The flexible gooseneck can be positioned at different angles, allowing for a variety of sound nuances. The mic is elegant, lightweight, unobtrusive and designed to keep out of the way during performance.
