Dual Spool Filament Drying
Wet 3D printing filament can result in stringing, clogging, poor adhesion, and layer shifting. The Creality Space Pi Filament Dryer Plus addresses these issues by drying filament during the printing process itself, improving 3D model quality and reducing the impact of external environmental conditions on filament performance.
PTC 360° Hot-Air Heating
The dryer uses a built-in fan with 360° hot-air circulation for uniform heating throughout the chamber, helping remove moisture from filament and improve print consistency. Its double PTC heating system is designed to provide even heat distribution across both loaded spools during operation.
Advanced PTC Heating Technology
The unit employs a 110W PTC heater to warm the chamber, delivering consistent heat output for filament drying. Unlike PI heating pads that can produce uneven heating, the PTC-based system is designed to maintain more uniform drying conditions while remaining durable, energy-saving and environmentally conscious.
LCD Touch Screen Control
A 4-inch LCD touch screen provides direct control over drying functions, allowing users to monitor and adjust drying conditions through an intuitive interface.
One-Key Filament Settings
One-key temperature presets support up to 12 filament types, including common materials and composite filaments such as PLA-CF, PA-CF and ASA. Manual temperature adjustment is also available within a range of 45°C to 70°C for more precise control.
Timer-Based Drying Control
A configurable timer allows drying sessions to be set anywhere from 0 to 48 hours, enabling controlled drying cycles based on filament requirements.
Dual-Spool Capacity
The Dryer Plus accommodates two 1kg filament spools within a single unit, providing additional capacity for multi-material workflows and extended drying sessions.
Multi-Printer Support
Four filament outlets and integrated PTFE tube connections allow the dryer to support a wide range of filament configurations and facilitate simultaneous use with up to two printers.
