Dual Scanning Modes

Choose the right scanning technology for your project with two dedicated scanning modes. The 7 Parallel Blue Laser mode is designed for capturing fine details and complex contours with greater precision, while NIR Structured Light provides a wider scanning range suited to larger objects and more flexible scanning applications.

High-Precision Blue Laser Scanning

Capture intricate details with the 7 Parallel Blue Laser mode, offering accuracy of up to 0.03mm and 3D resolution from 0.1-2mm. With support for marker, global marker and marker-free alignment, it's well suited to detailed scanning of smaller objects, components, models and other complex shapes.

Versatile NIR Structured Light

For larger objects and more flexible scanning, switch to NIR Structured Light. This mode offers up to 0.1mm accuracy, a working distance of up to 1,000mm and Geometry/Texture alignment, making it suitable for larger subjects and applications including body scanning.

Fast 3D Scanning

Scan efficiently with speeds of up to 110 FPS on PC using Blue Laser mode, or up to 40 FPS when scanning with a phone. NIR Structured Light provides speeds of up to 30 FPS on PC and 20 FPS on a phone, giving you flexibility depending on the scanning mode and device you're using.

Full-Colour Scanning

Capture colour information alongside 3D geometry with colour mapping, helping create more detailed digital representations of real-world objects. NIR Structured Light is particularly suited to full-colour capture, making it useful for applications where both shape and surface appearance are important.

Scan in Bright Outdoor Conditions

Pika is designed to handle challenging lighting conditions, with Blue Laser scanning supporting up to 110,000 lux and NIR Structured Light supporting up to 80,000 lux with the NIR filter. This gives you greater freedom to scan both indoors and outdoors.

Marker-Free Scanning

Reduce preparation time with marker-free scanning in Blue Laser mode. This allows you to begin scanning compatible objects without placing markers across their surface, while marker and global marker alignment options remain available when additional tracking is beneficial. Creality specifies that marker-free laser scanning is available in wired PC mode.

AI-Assisted Processing

Once you've captured your scan, AI-assisted processing in CrealityScan helps turn your captured data into usable 3D models. Pika supports common formats including STL, OBJ, PLY and ASC, making it suitable for 3D printing, modelling and digital creation workflows.
