Some time ago when Cre8audio first got started making stuff they were shocked that the eurorack world wasn’t jam-packed with keyboard cases. I mean, who wouldn’t want to build your own lego-style dream synth? Cre8audio felt they absolutely had to do this, and so they did and it was epic. Great origin story right?

Anyway, NiftyKEYZ is pretty ridiculously packed with capabilities over and beyond being an awesome case with a keyboard on it.

Power & spaceMore than just a full-sized 49 key keyboard (with aftertouch), NiftyKEYZ has a whole load of space for a pile of whatever eurorack format modules you want to toss into it. All told, NiftyKEYZ has 112hp of available module space and its newly designed power supply provides 1500mA +12v, 1000mA -12v, and 1000mA +5v power.

Stuff NiftyKEYZ with modules and you’ll have a franken-synth that’s only limit is the bounds of your imagination (or lack thereof).

sonic potential galore!So having 4 voices that you can assign willy nilly in your own Frankensynth is super cool, but we thought you wouldn’t want us to stop there! NiftyKEYZ also has a multi-mode arpeggiator that syncs to an external clock as well as NiftyKEYZ’s internal clock.

Speaking of clock, NiftyKEYZ can easily divide incoming clock to your heart’s content, as well as generate its own kicking pulse. Perfect as the center of your system or just being a part of it.

Pretty Mod right? Speaking of Mod, NiftyKEYZ’s modwheel can send constant voltage, allowing you to modulate like a mad person. Additionally, you can toggle the modwheel into LFO mode where now the modwheel will control the depth of clock-synced LFO with 5 fantastic user-selectable shapes.

That's only begun to scratch the surface. Cre8audio haven’t even started to go on about the autochord, sequencing, expression I/O, velocity, and oh yea, there’s aftertouch too!!!!!

'one controller to rule it all'Cre8audio are kinda famous for being MIDI fanatics despite making voltage controllable stuff. They're note sure if it’s just the word MIDI, or the fact that practically everything else in our studios have MIDI in, on, or somehow associated with it. Because of this, they found it absolutely necessary for NiftyKEYZ to have deep MIDI implementation.

All of NiftyKEYZ’s I/O can be controlled via external MIDI from either its 5 pin MIDI Din in and/or its USB MIDI class-compliant connection. No drivers are needed! Feel free to connect NiftyKEYZ to your computer’s DAW etc. or any external MIDI devices and go to town.

Additionally, NiftyKEYZ is a full-functioning MIDI controller for your computer and or other external MIDI devices. No need for additional MIDI controllers. Use NiftyKEYZ as the one controller to rule it all…

fully analogue East Coast style semi-modular synthesizerCre8audio’s East Beast Desktop Modular Synth has been lovingly created in collaboration with Pittsburgh Modular, expertly designed to deliver a compact east-coast styled modular synthesizer boasting unique topology and cutting-edge filters. Injecting new life and energy into east-coast synthesis, the East Beast sports a 5th gen oscillatory with a broad choice of waveforms to choose from. It also features the clever PGH filter, a move away from the classic transistor ladder filter found in most of the classic synths.

Upon the oscillator kicking in, it’s possible to shape your sound with a 4 stage envelope generator and LFO. This custom circuitry showcases a sharp and percussive attack, ideal for those expressive performances. With up to 18 patch points, the creative potential is unbound. Each patch point is also Eurorack compatible, meaning you can patch the East Beast into your favourite modules. Not only that, but the East Beast can be removed from its housing and installed within a Eurorack system for added flexibility.

A wide range of performance tools are on offer including the built-in controller buttons which can be used to play notes (as a one-octave keyboard), create sequences (using the 32-step sequencer), as a tap tempo clock source and much more. A clock-synced arpeggiator is also included as well as a dual-range LFO with triangle wave output.
