Product Overview Meet the Carbide Series Air 240 - an extraordinary small form factor PC case for Mini-ITX and MicroATX computers. The eye-catching cube design - complete with a full side window - hosts an internal layout optimized for maximum airflow or advanced water-cooling configurations (Including a 240mm radiator or two). Don't let the compact size fool you - this little one handles full zise components while still offering roomy installation space. Features Direct Airflow path cooling
The unusual interior design is optimized to allow the intake fans to deliver cool air directly to your components that generate the most heat.

Easy Installation and upgrades
Tool-free 3.5" drive, 2.5" drive, and side panel removal means that builds and upgrades can be performed without reaching for a screwdriver. The CPU backplate cutout allows you to upgrade your CPU cooler without taking out the motherboard.

Flexible Installation
The Flexibility goes beyond dual Mini-ITX and MicroATX compability. The included rubber feet can be placed on any of three surfaces, so you can customize the orientation of the chassis: as a standard tower, and inverted tower, or as a desktop.

Outstanding liquid cooling radiator support
The Air 240 has pre-spaced holes for 240mm radiators on the top, bottom, and front. If you're using a Mini-ITX motherboard, you can add both front and bottom 240mm radiators. If you're using a microATX motherboard with dual GPUs, you can install a front 240mm radiator.

Full side panel window
The panoramic window allows you to admire your work.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good quality well designed case I was extremely impressed with this case. Attention to detail and build quality was outstanding throughout; from the soft touch paint finish down to the magnetically attached fan grills and externally accessible 2.5" and 3.5" quick release drive bays. Even the logo on the front is magnetically attached so it can be rotated to fit your case orientation preference. The case comes supplied with three good quality Corsair 120mm fans, as well as a selection of fixtures and fittings which include screws, cable ties, rubber feet, etc. Due to the way the case is designed the top, bottom, sides and front are all removable without having to disconnect any wiring. It also has access to the rear of the motherboard which allows for exotic CPU cooler installations. All this combined with the spacious layout gives great accessibility making installation a pleasure. I also like the compartmentalised design which is starting to get more popular these days, with the motherboard + cards in the upper compartment and the PSU + drives in the lower compartment. This allows for a very cosmetically pleasing, almost "wireless" installation visible through the top clear panel. Also it helps improve cooling with great airflow unimpeded by wires. Originally I chose this case as its dimensions suited my on desk placement but after using this layout I don't think I could go back to a regular PC case again. 08 April 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Typical Corsair - Good quality, and looks good too. I had a Corsair Obsidian 250D ITX case, but decided to move it into the slightly larger Carbide Air 240. As expected with Corsair, the case is designed like a dream, and looks great, and is easy to place components like my H100i 240mm Radiator and fans. The only bit I felt wasn't great was the plastic panels, since they tend to bend ever-so-slightly, so when the panels are closed and any cables or screws that tighten them, cause the panel to bend ever so slightly. It's only apparent when you examine the lines of the panel gaps - other than that - I really like it. 30 March 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to work with This is a really nicely laid out case, Corsair have got a lot of things right which make it so easy to install whatever I've tried so far. If I had to put together another mid-range machine tomorrow I'd choose this case in front of all the others I've used in the past. 01 January 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good case but a couple of niggles. This case would have gotten an excellent rating were it not for just a minor thing. The 'bottom' of the case (left hand side the way I have it set up) does not really have room for normal fans to fit because they would get in the way of the PCI-E slot and all the USB2/3 and audio headers. I can fit slim 12mm fans here but that means ordering them specially from a limited number of suppliers. If the case had been designed a little wider that would have been really good. Otherwise, the design is excellent wiith easy cable routing, access to all components. It is easy to open with an almost completely tool-less design. The only places a screwdriver is needed is for mounting the motherboard, cooling (fans, cpu cooler, etc) and for 2.5" drives on the 3.5" trays. The trays themselves are tool-less if you are fitting the correct sized drive. I would use this case again, unlike my last case which got used for 1 PC and never got upgraded because it was a pain to access (Lian-Li). 12 August 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Top quality fantastic case for small build and with the dual chamber effortless beautiful build. on the down side if you like to use a dvd reader or anything else you will have to buy an external as haven't any cuts for installation but hey there is where the mod pleasure coming to play 07 July 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great little case! Bought this for a LAN party rig... what a brilliant bit of kit! will fit a mATX board with full cpu watercooling. Also fits two full sized GPU's 26 June 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Case Excellent Case, had a Corsair 250D before this and the 240 is a lot better. looks are just as good, plenty of space (I really like the two compartments) and excellent quality as usual from Corsair. Would recommend, not many cases this size can fit a Matx board and dual graphic cards. 10 June 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by It would be the perfect case if was only 1cm wider... Ok folks, i've got this case for three months and now is the time to tell you about my experience. I have got i5 4590 with Noctua NH-D9L heatsink and EVGA GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0 in it. It is perfect for cooling but the noise could be a problem for some of you if you prefer silence over better cooling performance. The biggest advantage in this case is the abillity to flip it over and the tons of options for placing your case fans. The down side and the biggest disadvantage for me is lack of space for wider GPU's, MSI GTX 970 won't fit, ASUS GTX 970 too... that's a shame considering that you need literally 1cm to fit them inside! The GPU length is more than 290mm, if you got one case fan only you can fit more than 340mm card in it. In the specs sais that the max cpu clearence is 120mm, my heatsing is 110mm and still have got 2cm gap to the window, so i guess 130mm heatsing will be just fine to fit with no problems whatsoever. About the temperatures.... i've stuggled with my GPU from the beggining having 75 degrees under full gaming load, then i fliped the case over so the motherboard is horizontal and the GPU vertical and i've made it, before i was 75 degrees with 46/48% fan speed, the after 65 degrees with the same fan setting, but because is a bit loud i set it up to 36% fan with 72 degrees max. So i could say... Pros: Cooling performance Cable managment Stunning look and design Build in dust filters Cons: The missing 1cm GPU clearance i mentioned above Noise If you've got mATX board you won't be able to fit 120mm case fans below the GPU, so you can go for 92mm instead. 18 March 2015

Answer:
Just measured my case- 115mm from CPU cap to underside of side panel. this should give you about 3mm clearance with the side on. Hope this helps Jpizzle
