The Cooler Master HAF II 500 is an ATX mid-tower PC case engineered for high airflow, efficient cooling and flexible system building. Featuring two 220mm Mighty40 F220 front intake fans and a 180mm Mighty40 V180 rear exhaust fan, it combines high-volume airflow with a balanced intake and exhaust configuration. Support for Mini-ITX, Mini-DTX, Micro-ATX, ATX, CEB and E-ATX motherboards up to 310mm wide makes it suitable for a range of desktop builds, from gaming systems to high-performance workstations.

Designed to accommodate powerful hardware and custom cooling configurations, the HAF II 500 offers graphics card clearance of up to 430mm, generous CPU cooler clearance and support for multiple fan and radiator layouts. High Airflow with Oversized Cooling Fans

Keep system components supplied with fresh air using the Cooler Master HAF II 500's three pre-installed Mighty40 fans. Two 220mm F220 intake fans deliver high-volume airflow through the front of the chassis, while the 180mm V180 rear exhaust fan helps remove warm air. The fans feature 40mm-thick frames and dual ball bearings, combining substantial airflow capacity with a design focused on balanced cooling performance and noise management.

Flexible Cooling with MasterRail

Adapt your cooling configuration to suit your hardware with the MasterRail multi-purpose mounting system. The sliding rails support alternative fan arrangements and compatible radiator installations, allowing greater flexibility when planning airflow and liquid cooling. The case supports up to three 120mm or 140mm fans, or two 160mm or 180mm fans at the top. Front mounting supports the supplied dual 220mm fans by default, with alternative configurations available using MasterRail. Radiator support includes conditional 240mm, 280mm and selected 360mm configurations, depending on the mounting position and component clearances.

Spacious Hardware Compatibility

Build a high-performance desktop with room for large components and a broad selection of motherboard formats. The HAF II 500 supports Mini-ITX, Mini-DTX, Micro-ATX, ATX, CEB and E-ATX motherboards up to 310mm wide, with compatible standoff patterns required for CEB and E-ATX boards. Graphics cards can measure up to 430mm in length with the supplied front fans installed, while CPU cooler clearance reaches 221mm for Intel configurations and 220mm for AMD configurations. Eight expansion slots support a range of add-in cards and multi-GPU configurations, subject to card thickness and spacing limitations.

Organised Cable Management

Maintain a tidy interior with the HAF II 500's split-level cable-routing layout, integrated cable straps and dedicated routing chamber. Cable-routing clearance ranges from 15mm to 40mm, helping accommodate different cable bundles while keeping the main component area organised. A sliding motherboard cover further supports a clean build layout, helping preserve clear airflow paths and making cable management more straightforward during assembly and upgrades.

Flexible Storage and Power Supply Fitment

Configure internal storage around your system requirements using support for up to three 3.5-inch drives and six 2.5-inch drives, depending on the installed power supply length. With a PSU measuring up to 150mm, the case supports three 3.5-inch and six 2.5-inch drives; longer PSUs up to 210mm reduce this capacity to two 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch drives. Power supply clearance also depends on the drive orientation, allowing up to 150mm in a north-south orientation or 210mm in an east-west orientation.

Durable Construction and Practical Access

The HAF II 500 combines a 0.7–0.8mm SGCC steel chassis with an ABS panel, a tempered-glass left side panel and an SGCC steel right side panel. The transparent side panel provides a view of installed components, while the solid construction supports a substantial desktop build. Top, front and bottom power supply dust filters help reduce dust accumulation inside the chassis, supporting easier maintenance.

Front Panel Connectivity

Connect peripherals and accessories through the case's front I/O panel, which includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and a combined 3.5mm headset jack for audio and microphone connections. A power LED and reset switch provide convenient access to essential system controls. An integrated fan hub offers six PWM fan ports and six ARGB ports, with a total power capacity of 54W, for centralised fan and lighting management.
