Product Overview

The Cooler Master N300 is a classic mid-tower designed for optimum cooling. There are four models to choose from by single / dual USB 3.09 support andf side panel window. To keep constant cooling, the front panel is covered by mesh, and thanks to the SickleFlow fans, N300 Generates extreme high airflow and keep silence for long-time operation.

If you prefer liquid cooling solutions, installing 240mm or 120mm radiators in N300 won't be a problem as well. The 240mm radiator can be installed at the top or on the right side, and the 120mm one - in the rear. Additionally, N300 supports up to e8 HDDs and high-end graphics cards up to 320mm for plenty of expansion.

• Full mesh on the front panel.
• Supports a 240mm liquid cooling radiator or two 120mm fans on the right side / at the top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for After a few 'beige box' builds, I decided to spend a bit more on a case this time. I wasn't looking for a technicolour gaming rig; just a case that looked smart, easily accommodated the components and left me with a full compliment of fingers at the end. This case did all these things brilliantly. I especially appreciated the 'screwless' HDD drive bays. Excellent!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value for money Just looking to freshen up my desktop PC and not wishing to spend a lot on it I decided to try this case thinking that for the price I can't go too wrong. I managed to install my Asus ATX mobo and Corsair H80i cooler along with 2 HDD's and a 2.5" SSD with no problems, there's not enough plastic 'tool free' retainers to install all of the devices but sufficient nuts and bolts to do the job. Internal cabling for switch panel and fans is of a good length so able to connect to mobo without problems. Probably best suited to a modular PSU as it fits in the bottom and surplus cables can become a bit messy if you have a couple of HDD's in the base of the cabinet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cooler Master N300 Case Good - Great value - Good airflow - Easy to mount drives - All black painted interior Bad - Very little cable management options - Side panels are a little flimsy

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not designed for water cooling to be attached to top of the case There is not enough room to put water cooling system (I have Asus ROG STRIX X99 GAMING Mobo + Cooler Master Seidon 240V). The main body of water cooling hits the plastic connectors cover on MB and fans hit DIMM blocks. It is however feasible to fit the water cooling system if you are happy with fixing it with 3-4 screws (instead of 8) as others are 1-2mm off the mounting holes (because of MB) and also you have to cut bits of external plastic on both fans which will void warranty on the cooling system. Perhaps this case is better designed for air cooling as if has plenty of fans mounts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than I was expecting. To cut a long story short, I use 2 pc's. 2nd pc was an old dual core 768 chip with DDR2, and was frustratingly slow compared to main pc which I thought was fast with its 1156 chip. So plan was to update main pc with new bits and use the bits from this in 2nd pc. Having had a 120mm fan water cooler sitting here a few months I planned to use that on the new 1150 chip in the current case, but only on building did I find that the radiator did not fit in place below power unit, and only option was a new case. This N300 case was not only roomier than current cans of same dimension (has to fit under desk), it has plenty of options for fitting the cooler, but all I did was remove the fan from rear and fitted it above one in front then place cooler at rear. Only issue was fitting the m/b, it took 2 of us as I wasn't able to get it in the top corner and fit the mounting screw, but once 2 were in then all went together easily. OK it doesn't have dust filters except in front panel, but then my old one didn't either, so am used to that. I would certainly get one again, and the pc maintenance guy who guided and helped me is considering one himself to replace his much more costly but slightly too big case. Done a little test placing a fan on top of case and temps went up 1c, so turned fan around (exhaust) and temp dropped 2c over normal running, so may look at getting 2 120mm fans fitted as exhaust fans there, but at moment it hasn't gone over 32c.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good budget case with loads of fan positions I bought this case to replace an Antec case for my son's PC. One criteria was that it had to have 2 USB2 sockets at the front as on the Antec case. Another was a front USB3 socket in case I decide to upgrade the motherboard from the currently elderly Asus P5KC which has no USB3 socket. Unfortunately only one of the front USB2 sockets recognises USB sticks. The other is only useful as a 5V power source which my son uses to keep his mobile phone charged. I need to investigate this fault further. The case is bigger than the one it replaces and installation of components was straightforward. I like the PSU located at the bottom layout and tool free fittings for optical drives and HDD's. The case came with one inlet and one outlet fan but has room for up to 6 more so effective cooling is easy to achieve. The case has mesh walls all round and so there's no scope with no noise insulation sheets so the PC is somewhat noisier than when it was in the Antec case with same fan arrangement. The non replaceable rear blanking strips are a bit of a pain. Remember to double check which ones to remove which you install your graphics card.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it needs to This is a great sized case that allows pretty much anything you need to be fitted in it and comes with two factory set fans that are not too loud in normal use. (1 front, 1 back) If pushed to a niggle it would be nice that there were some kind of dust filters pre-installed on the side and top vents, especially if they are not being used.
