Product Overview Succeeding the popular Hyper 212 Plus, the NEW Hyper 212 EVO carries on the legacy of providing a great balance of performance and noise level during high and low speed operations.

The Hyper 212 EVO cooling systems are designed and optimized to provide the best user experience and cooling potential for a new generation of processors. The Hyper 212 EVO now features four Cooler Master patented Continuous Direct Contact™ (CDC) heat pipes that are tightly packed into a flat array on the CPU Cooler base. This acts as a virtual vapor chamber that dissipates a large amount of heat. The aluminum fin structure has been optimized to provide the perfect performance balance between high and low speed fan operations.

Features • Well-balanced cooling performance provides fin optimizations with perfect balance between high and low speed operations.

• 4 Direct Contact heat pipes with the patented CDC™ (Continuous Direct Contact) technology - creating a perfect, sleek surface for heat conduction.

• Wide-range PWM fan with unique wave-shaped blade design for excellent airflow.

•Versatile all-in-one mounting solution supporting the latest Intel® LGA 1366 / 1156/55/51/50 2011/2011-3 and AMD FM1 / AM3+.

Intel Branding Part I
Intel Branding Part I
Date Issued: 1st Jul 2009

Intel’s been on a mission of late. That mission revolves around grouping and standardising key technologies under various banners that are designed to ensure hardware compatibility and consumer ease of use. We’ll take a closer look at three such technologies that fall under the headings of Centrino, Viiv, and vPro, respectively.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, 4 Heat Pipes Direct Contact, 120mm Quiet Fan, for Intel/AMD is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 70.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect air CPU cooler If you're planning on going the air cooled route, with your new build then this is the perfect cooler for you! My temps dropped 5 Degrees C, from my other one. I have an I7 7700k, temps stay below 45 degrees C, they hover around 28/29 on idle! Much better than my other one (I cannot remember the name of it).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hyper 212 Evo Quite easy to fit and keeps everything a lot cooler. Slightly disappointed as it's a little bit noisier than I hoped but it's still a lot quieter than the standard fan so I'm very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great alternative to a AIO liquid cooling! Purchased this as a replacement from a Corsair H55 liquid cooler. I only have an i5 4670 at stock speeds so nothing fancy. This cooler is absolutely amazing, it's great quality, great looks and it keeps temperatures on par if not slightly lower than my old H55. Idle is around 22 degrees and when gaming it reaches around 48. Just be aware that this is a large cooler and may not fit in all cases so do some research first!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great low price cooler The CPU cooler decreased the temperature of my CPU (i5 4690k 3.5GHz) by 10 degrees. This is a very good replacement of the stock CPU cooler would recommend. However the cooler can be fiddly and the instructions are not very clear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Good product, weird bracket not fitting in any direction on my 1151 socket not sure why but overall good cooler, big and heavy for effective heat disappation

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great upgrade from stock Bought this as a replacement for the stock fan on my FX-8350 which was screaming like a group of Girl Guides on a roller-coaster when playing any game. Brought the temps down to respectable levels and reduced the noise tenfold. The only downside was the height of the unit which was 3mm greater than the width of my case. Also my case does not have a cut out to access the rear of the motherboard where the backplate for the heatsink lives so it was a bit of a faff to install.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Silent and effective. Have a case with 8 fans (9 if you count the one on the actual CPU cooler (with enough space for another one on there). My CPU is at ~25 degrees idle and stays under 50 under very heavy load. This cooler is surprisingly silent and it does it's job properly. having a case with good airflow definitely helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cooler This cooler is great its not to pricey and performs very well I'm running a overcooked amd CPU which can get very hot but now I run at 25-30 degrees on idle and 40 in-game it looks nice in my case aswell

I'm not sure, but you can check! The top point of the heat-sink is 158.5mm (check if you have a gap the same size/bigger than that).
