Product Overview

CiT Low Profile Z03 CPU Cooler

CiT’s low profile CPU cooler is designed for space limited applications specifically utilising Intel platforms. Made using aluminium fins for excellent thermal conduction, and with a small footprint of just 95 x 95mm, the Z03 is truly compact. In addition, the CPU cooler is equipped with a custom PWM 90mm fan that sits directly atop the aluminium radiator fins for better airflow focus and enhanced heat dissipation. Measuring only 60mm tall, the Z03 is a leading choice for compact HTPCs or Small Form Factor builds that have limited clearance for CPU coolers. Get maximum cooling with minimal footprint.

Precision Fan & Quiet Operation

At the heart of the Z03 is a 90 mm PWM-controlled fan, capable of variable speeds up to around 2,500 RPM to balance cooling performance and acoustics. The cooler achieves airflow ratings around 45 CFM while operating at noise levels as low as 22.5 dBA, making it a good fit for builds where quiet operation is a priority. A hydraulic bearing design further contributes to longevity and smooth operation under load.

Optimised Heat Dissipation with Aluminium Fin Array

Rather than using a large tower design, the Z03 focuses on a broad aluminium fin-stack layout paired with the fan to efficiently extract heat from the CPU surface. While not aimed at extreme overclocked processors, this design handles mid-range CPUs and typical desktop workloads with commendable efficiency in compact builds.

Broad Platform Compatibility & Straightforward Installation

The Z03 cooler supports a range of modern Intel sockets and is built to work in systems where height clearance is limited. Its compact design doesn’t obstruct adjacent components in small motherboards, making it particularly suitable for micro-ATX/mini-ITX builds. Installation is straightforward, aligning with user-friendly cooling upgrades without the hassle of large heatsinks.

Features

• Ultra-low-profile height around 60mm.
• 90mm PWM fan with speed range up to 2,500 RPM.
• Steady airflow of 45 CFM, with low noise level up to 22.5 dBA.
• Hydraulic bearing fan for longer service life.
• Broad socket compatibility for modern Intel platforms.
• Efficient aluminium fin-array design for compact yet effective cooling.

Intel’s been on a mission of late. That mission revolves around grouping and standardising key technologies under various banners that are designed to ensure hardware compatibility and consumer ease of use. We’ll take a closer look at three such technologies that fall under the headings of Centrino, Viiv, and vPro, respectively.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.
