It's up to you whether you connect the microphone to your computer via USB or to your mixer to use it as an XLR microphone. The cardioid polar pattern, low-cut filter and other useful features make the Ngale X an excellent choice for both professional and aspiring creators.
Perfectly Equipped for Different Situations
The CHERRY XTRFY Ngale X has a cardioid polar pattern, which picks up sound from the front and attenuates or suppresses noises coming from the sides or back of the mic. This makes our dynamic microphone a great choice if you want to capture voice recordings of a single person. On top of that, the Ngale X offers two different recording modes: The low-cut filter is particularly useful for gaming or streaming sessions, as it filters out potential rumbling noises that may arise from intense gaming or vigorous keyboard typing. The low-cut filter removes the lowest frequencies for gaming-optimized clarity. On the other hand, if you want to create voiceovers, podcasts and other recordings, choose full-range mode for rich voice recordings across the full frequency range. You can switch between the two modes using a small switch at the back of the mic.
The Choice Is Yours
The Ngale X is a hybrid model: You can use it as an XLR mic connected via a mixer or as a dynamic USB microphone connected directly to your computer. In the latter case, simply place the braided USB-C to USB-A cable in the USB port of your device and you're ready to go. The Ngale X works easily via plug and play.
Adjust Your Settings Directly on The Mic
The XLR output allows you to benefit from all the advantages of connecting the microphone to professional interfaces. If you use our dynamic microphone via a USB port, you will have access to some convenient settings — not only without a mixer or other external audio devices, but directly on the mic: For example, control headphone monitoring or mute the CHERRY XTRFY Ngale X at the touch of a button. When muted, the mic will light up red. To continue recording, simply press the button again. In addition, when connecting via the USB port, you can also switch between different LED colours and RGB effects.
Ngale Boom Arm
The CHERRY XTRFY Ngale X has a sturdy metal desk stand. This means that our dynamic microphone can be easily set up on a desk during streaming, podcasting or gaming sessions. However, if you want to use the mouse and keyboard while you are recording, you might run out of space. To give yourself some extra space, you can detach the mic from the stand and combine it with our CHERRY XTRFY Ngale Boom Arm instead. The robust microphone arm is made of aluminium and is equipped with flexible hinges that can be adjusted manually. Built-in cable management keeps your setup organized. The Ngale Boom Arm has a 3/8-inch thread and comes with a 5/8-inch adapter. As well as being ideal for use with the CHERRY XTRFY Ngale microphones, it is also compatible with most other professional studio microphones.
