The array of joysticks on offer is massive with price varying almost as much as the styles of sticks themselves. The trick is buying a stick suited to your needs and not something that either doesn’t do what you need or has extras that you’ll never use. The reason there are so many sticks on the market is because they each fulfill a particular niche… so let’s take a stroll through the joystick forest and sort out the slender silver birches from the mighty oaks….

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good pedals Right well to start i've owned these pedals now for over 20 years! and i purchased these for use with microsoft flight sim 2000. They have never failed and still to this day provide dependable use from flight sim right through to racing and use in elite dangerous etc. The only down side no the drivers you have to unplug this unit when playing UBIsoft games like ghost recon etc or you will just rotate in circles all the time. Over all a great product and well worth the buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stuff Good weight to them, build quality is nice, no wiggle, sturdy, don't find them slipping on the floor. Pedals are closer together/not as high as the real thing, not finding it a issue though. Works well with FSX, simply plug and play P3D requires me to use FSUIPC to get them to work right

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pedals very configurable I got the CH Rudder Pedals as I wanted for use with Elite Dangerous. They are quite plastic however it does feel like a high quality plastic which will last, you can tell though that inside the mechanism is metal. There is a nice positive centre indent so you can feel when they are back to normal. One really nice feature is how configurable they are with the CH software. I wanted to set the toe brakes for analogue vertical thrust axis, left pedal for down thrust and right for up. By default this wouldn't work with Elite as each brake is seen as a separate axis. 5 minutes Googling and I had the answer and even a script to put into the CH software to combine the brakes into a single axis, job done! There is a lot of support out there for the CH pedals which is a nice thing. I was worried they might be a little too close together, but it's not too bad. I would have preferred something more like an MFG Crosswinds layout, since I'm quite tall and have big feet, but those are too expensive at the moment and I've actually been quite impressed with the CH product, it does feel like it will last. It certainly has been working trouble free for me. All in all I would recommend these if you are looking for a decent mid-range set of rudder pedals, they work very well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great addition for a flight sim Very well made and a real benefit when using with a good flight sim. Combined with the CH Eclipse Yoke the pedals are realistic, easy to install and responsive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product As with my fighter stick review this product again is pretty much flawless. Solid construction, feels great and is very accurate. Gave 4/5 for value because if you want the full HOTAS setup you need all three products from CH Products and I think CH Products should offer a bundle, that reduces the price slightly. I still feel they are worth what I paid though.
