Product Overview

A Universal Cable For the Thunderbolt 4 & USB4 Generation

Any Thunderbolt user knows that one of the most important, and often overlooked aspects of any workflow, is the humble cable. As we usher in a new era of Thunderbolt 4 and USB4, the demands for our connected devices is only increasing, and the need for a cable that keeps up with these demands is of paramount importance.

Your Most Powerful Cable

With performance up to 40Gb/s, the CalDigit Thunderbolt 4 cables are ideal for use with Thunderbolt docks, USB-C docks, eGPUs, SSDs, RAID storage, AR/VR devices and much more.

A New-Level of Flexibility

The latest iteration of Thunderbolt 4 has brought with it a new level of flexibility. In previous generations longer (1-2M) Thunderbolt cables lacked compatibility with USB-C (3.0) devices, meaning that if you wanted to use longer Thunderbolt 3 cables with USB-C devices you would have seen reduced speeds. Now, Thunderbolt 4 cables offer compatibility across all versions of USB-C including USB 2.0, 3.0, 3.2 and 4 regardless of the length of the cable.

Up to 100W Power Delivery

With power delivery up to 100W, CalDigit’s Thunderbolt 4 cables are ideal for use with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, USB4 or USB-C devices that can provide laptop power delivery. Connect these premium cables to a docking station or any other type of device that can supply power for an ultra-fast, ultra efficient charge.

Thunderbolt 3 Compatible

Of course you can use Thunderbolt 4 cables with Thunderbolt 3 devices and laptops, as they are fully backwards compatible with the previous generation. Future-proof your cables by utilising Thunderbolt 4 cables with your Thunderbolt 3 devices.

USB4 & PCIe 32Gb/s

CalDigit’s Thunderbolt 4 cables are compliant with the latest USB4 (40Gb/s) specification and can be used with USB-C devices that are utilising the USB4 interface. The latest spec also brings the integration of 32Gb/s PCIe technology as a minimum requirement. This means that CalDigit’s Thunderbolt 4 cables can be used to connect storage devices with performance up to 3000MB/s.

8K Display Capability

Previous generations of 2M Thunderbolt 3 Active cables restricted compatibility to Thunderbolt monitors only. This meant that 2M cables could not be used with USB-C monitors. CalDigit’s Thunderbolt 4 cables on the other hand have pushed past that boundary, and can be used with USB-C monitors in addition to Thunderbolt monitors, for up to 8K resolution (in addition to 1080p, 4K & 5K).

iPhone, iPad Pro & Tablets

As CalDigit’s Thunderbolt 4 cables are compatible with USB-C, they can be used with the iPhone 15, iPad Pro, and Windows USB-C tablets.

Premium Quality

CalDigit’s Thunderbolt 4 cables use premium materials to maintain consistent performance, reduce heat, and provide an optimum user experience every time. We believe in the quality of the cable so much that we have backed it up with a 2 Year Warranty.

E-Marker Wear Prevention

The CalDigit Thunderbolt 4 cables include E-Marker technology at either end of the cable. These chips communicate with the attached devices to provide the right amount of power in order to prevent any damage to your devices caused by an excess of power. Rest assured that CalDigit’s E-Marker technology will prevent this from ever happening.
