Archive Old Tapes and DVDs
Preserve your most valuable video forever!
Rescue your old VHS, BetaMax video tapes and DVDs by making digital archives with Intensity Pro 4K! If your DVDs get scratched or your old tapes deteriorate and break you could lose important video memories forever. And as tapes get older, it’s harder and harder to find working decks to play them back! Intensity Pro 4K captures better looking video than other solutions because it includes a professional, broadcast grade time base corrector to help stabilize video from poor quality tapes, like VHS and older DVDs. You can even adjust the audio and video levels before you capture so that your video looks as good as possible. Files can be saved as either uncompressed or compressed video so your valuable video is preserved forever!

Simply Better Quality
Broadcast quality components for broadcast quality video!
Intensity Pro 4K is the only consumer video capture and playback card that’s built using the same broadcast quality video components that professionals in the film and television industry use! Files can be saved in professional compressed formats, like ProRes and DNxHD, or as fully uncompressed 10-bit video, the format used by professional television production studios. That means you always get the highest quality video and the best color precision possible when working with the latest Ultra HD televisions and projectors, gaming consoles, set top boxes, consumer cameras, VHS decks, DVD players, older broadcast decks and more!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product was unable to do what it said it would do Supporting software was poor and confusing. It's not your simple plug and play. Was unable to output 4K as stated on the item description for some reason even though i have aa 5K imac

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent capture card, limited support. This card is capable of multi video & audio formats. I have been impressed with the analogue video processing. The free black magic software is daunting but follows similar editing packages. Only two things spoilt my experience. My Z68 m-board is supported by black magic but not the hd3000 GPU. So ended up buying a new pcie GPU to run the software. And their free software has no support for non black magic interfaces I.e. FireWire camcorder connection.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy this for a windows PC This product consistently fails to work on highly specked AMD or Intel motherboards running Windows 10 Anniversary 64 bit O/S. You could buy12 turkeys for the price of this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from do not buy! no kidding I wasn't able to make it work withany hdmi sources. Even hdmi passthrough doesn't work! Itry to google for a solution but only found people with the same issues. I'll return it as sson as I tried to make it work a couple of more times. A product like this should not have been released to the market!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it should I'm interested in products working first time without issue and as expected from Blackmagic, it does what it says on the tin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great - fan issue is fixed, but it's still a little noisy Having read a bunch of reviews/opinions online, I was a little apprehensive due to reports of the fan on this card being very loud. I'm happy to report that this issue was fixed in a driver update and the fan noise is tolerable and intermittent. I think it will be absolutely fine for your average user. I have a silent PC, so I still ended up disconnecting the fan - I have good airflow so that hasn't had any consequences. Just bear in mind that this will void your warranty.

Can I use this on a Windows 10 64-bit system?

The spec refers only to Windows 7 and 8 as far as I can see.
Asked by: pauletal
It can be used but i ran into complications. I don't particularly like the supporting software and found it complicated. What you can do is to buy the Elgato HD60 Pro from Scan I hear you can hook it up to a 4K splitter and get a 4k output. A splitter like HD Fury Pro should work.

Does ADOBE MEDIA ENCODER sees it?

Hi. Is this card visible to the computer as a video input device? We broadcast via ADOBE MEDIA ENCODER, and would need to feed HDMI to our PC, then to stream via the encoder. Thanks
Asked by: wcalesso
Hello, This device has HDMI input so should be picked up, however HDMI input is unable to capture from copy protected HDMI sources. We cannot guarantee compatibly however as the device has not been specifically tested with Adobe Media Encoder. Regards,
