Featuring high sensitivity, low self-noise and the ability to handle everything from a whisper to extreme SPLs make it the most advanced microphone for studio, broadcast and live applications. As the unique ceramic capsule design is so consistent, any OC818 is match-paired with any other OC818, and when in cardioid mode, it can also be match-paired with any OC18, its affordable, smaller sibling. This studio set comes complete with a pop shield, shock mount and mic clip.

BLUETOOTH ADAPTOR FOR OC818 MICROPHONEAustrian Audio’s OC818 is the very first multi-patterned mic to boast the world’s first wireless pattern and switching control thanks to the optional transmitter/receiver (OCR8) which is able to be swiftly attached to the rear of the mic.
This unique feature allows for a previously unheard of 255 discrete polar patterns between figure-of-eight, through all of the cardioid versions and into omnidirectional. The free control software, PolarPilot, will be available for iOS and Android. This all occurs in the analogue domain and there is no processing or conversion of the mic’s signal to digital.
