Gain the gaming edge with Sonic Radar Pro!
Modern games are more than graphics – precise audio positioning gives gamers a distinct edge over enemies. That's why Strix Soar includes Sonic Radar Pro, an ASUS exclusive technology that visualizes and enhances in-game sounds, giving you a vital edge in first-person shooters.

Fire up your favorite game and Sonic Radar Pro displays a ‘radar' HUD (heads-up display) that pinpoints in-game actions relative to your position, so you'll know exactly where you are on the battlefield and what's happening around you!

Multiple radar-enhancers can be enabled in order to visualize and boost specific sounds such as footsteps, gunshots, and call-outs. Sounds are plotted on the 360-degree HUD, even when there's no clear line of sight, so invisibility is no barrier to pinpointing opponents, giving you a distinct advantage over other players!

What's more, Sonic Radar's on-screen appearance and position is completely customizable, so you can make it work just the way you want, with whatever game you want!

Reviews
Rated 3 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value for money Had some audio issues and was considering to go for a dedicated solution. Was looking between the ASUS Soar and the Raid version, and eventually settled for the SOAR. I'm more than happy with my choice. The sound reproduction is very good, even though I'm only using a 2.1 system. The microphone clarity is very good. The software ASUS provides is of a good quality which gives ample choices even to the initiate in the sound domain. If I had to choose again, I'd still get the Soar. 14 January 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Decent hardware let down by terrible drivers I got this to replace the on-board MSI audio (which was too quiet). However, I have 3 problems with this product. 1. It requires a separate 6-pin connector. I don't know why I needs this, other sound cards do not require this. 2. The driver software (under Win10) is terrible and simply does not work as required. 3. This sound card makes a switching/clicking noises all the time when the PC is turned on/off. Not a problem, but annoying. I got rid of this and purchased a SoundBlaster ZX instead, which is excellent. 28 December 2015
