Asus RT-AC66U Wireless Dual Band Router 1300Mbs AC with 4 Port Gigabit Switch is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid router, high performance I purchased this router about a year ago to replace another Asus router. It is solid and fast and it performs very well within the house. the signal reaches our garden shed about 30 metres from he house, and the neighbour's house across the road. I replaced the antennae with 9dB antennae and increased the range significantly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid router with good wireless performance. The build quality on this router is excellent. The wireless performance in my 1910-built house with solid brick walls is excellent. The browser-based configuration interface is well laid out and easy to use. It would have been nice if it had a built-in ADSL modem. As mentioned in the other reviews, it is probably overpriced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing bit of kit Solid router with easy to configure settings. If you are a money no object fibre user then this router is for you. With its easy to use manuals and intuitive onboard software you can be up and running in no time. If you also have multiple wifi devices with mixed classes then this router will handle all with no problem. Range is solid and upload/download speed is consistently good. Overall Another great product from Asus. Only slight drawback... price tag.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed I am a long time user of an RT-N16 router, a previous, slightly less capable Asus router. The RT-N16 survived 3 years, without any settings being changed, without having to be reset once The RT-AC66U, which was an upgrade to take advantage of the ac wireless speed on my Macbook Pro has unfortunately completely stopped to DHCP 3 times since purchase which required the unit to be turned off and back on again to reset the fault and to restart Internet in the house. How firmware can be improved to be less reliable, I don't know The unit is solidly built and I have a hope a firmware fix will eventually fix these issues until then ( written 1st Nov 2013 ) stay clear,
