Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for the money I wanted a fan free graphics card to run drone simulators, and this fitted the bill. Takes two slots - but the heatsink stops in time that another mounting panel for other extra ports off another card will still fit (not true of all 1030 cards). No extra power supply needed. Comes with normal and low profile panels. Only two connectors - DVI-D and HDMI, but OK for me. Replaced an R5 230, and the simulator frame rate jumped by 10x. Well pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job quietly If you are not looking for blistering performance - just solid performance, giving a 4k output at 60hz via an HDMI cable - without a fan, i.e. silently, then this does the job. In addition, as compared with an onboard Intel HD graphics chip via a DisplayPort output and cable, the GT 1030 passive card is slightly better in picture quality.

Is this compatible with an ASUS P6X58D-E motherboard

I’m looking to replace a very old ASUS 6850 graphics card. The motherboard is an ASUS P6X58D-E but only has pci express 2.0. Will this graphics card be compatible with it?

Hello, This will be compatible with PCIe 1.0 and 2.0 as well as 3.0 however it would only be able to achieve the maximum speeds from a PCIe 2.0 slot. Regards,
