Product Overview

Compact Design

Thanks to its low height, the Freezer 8i is ideal for compact cases and offers maximum compatibility with high RAM modules and nearby components.

For Intel Sockets LGA1851 and LGA1700

The scope of delivery only includes mounting material for Intel systems - this reduces packaging waste and saves unnecessary material.

Intel Contact Frame

Optimized contact pressure distribution for a longer CPU service life and more efficient heat transfer.

Efficient Cooling with Offset Heatpipes

The offset arrangement ensures optimal heat transfer from the base to the fins - for even heat distribution and improved cooling performance.

Fluid Dynamic Bearing

The low-friction sleeve bearing ensures particularly quiet operation - the fan runs pleasantly quietly both at low speeds and under varying loads.

Pre-Applied MX-6

The Freezer 8i is supplied with ARCTIC high-performance thermal paste so that the cooler can be installed and put into operation immediately.

6 Years Warranty

We are convinced of the quality and durability of our products - we are happy to pass this warranty on to our customers.

Features

• Compatible with LGA1851, LGA1700 socket.
• Pre-applied MX-6 thermal paste.
• Offset heat pipes ensure optimal heat dissipation.

Chassis Airflow
Date Issued: 20th Oct 2008

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.
