Product Overview Excellent Cooling Perfomance
A 92 mm PWM fan, 50 fins, 2 copper heatpipes in combination with pre-applied MX-4 high peroformance thermal compound provide excellent cooling performance and improve heat transfer from the CPU.

In a test conducted by Svet Hardware, the Freezer 11 LP successfully reduced the CPU temperature of an Intel Core i5-661 by 19 degrees.

Virtually Silent
Its low noise impeller and patented fan holder ensures the fan to work quietly even under full load.
PC Tuning showed us that the Freezer 11 LP is 16 dBA lower than the second best low profile cooler in the test they did, the Cooler Master Vortex 752.
Thanks to the PWM control, the fan speed adjusts according to the CPU temperature and thus the noise level remains at an absolute minimum which qualifies it as a silent cooler. Click here to see how the PWM control settings can be changed according to your performance and noise preference. Features Silm and Lightweight
With a height of only 55mm and the capability to draw air in from the side, the Freezer 11 LP is an extremely slim CPU cooler that fits into every HTPC and low profile computer. Its light weight limits the stress on the motherboard to a minimum and makes it absolutely transport safe.

Wide Compatibility
The Freezer 11 LP features wide compatibility with Intel sockets. Its simple mounting system is designed to fit most of the current CPU platforms.

The Freezer 11 LP is compatible with Intel Socket 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 775.

Quick Installation
The unique mounting system via push pins offers excellent stability and is applicable within minutes. Thanks to the pre-applied ARCTIC MX-4 high performance thermal compound, a quick and clean installation is guaranteed!

Intel Branding Part I
Intel Branding Part I
Date Issued: 1st Jul 2009

Intel’s been on a mission of late. That mission revolves around grouping and standardising key technologies under various banners that are designed to ensure hardware compatibility and consumer ease of use. We’ll take a closer look at three such technologies that fall under the headings of Centrino, Viiv, and vPro, respectively.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

There’s been a lot of hype about Intel’s Core 2 recently, even since they launched Core in fact. Words like Conroe, Badaxe and Allendale have been flying around. The bottom line is that Core 2 is the name of Intel’s latest line of CPUs, based on a new micro-architecture, designed for speed and efficiency.

Anybody who has been near their share of computer systems will appreciate that not all systems make the same amount of noise. There are a number of reasons for why this is so. Firstly, a computer makes noise for different reasons. Generally, anything mechanical is going to make noise.

Arctic Freezer 11 LP Low Profile Processor Cooler for Intel Socket 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 775 - 100 Watts Max Cooling is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap Cooler for great performance This cheap cooler kept my i7 cooler than the arctic circle. It's price makes this one of the cheapest coolers in the market with the capability to keep even high end processors cool. It's slim and small dimensions makes it perfect for smaller builds and the fan is fairly quiet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good for its price and easy to fit I bought this small cooler because I needed a temporary cooler to help diagnose some issues with a water-cooled system and it was effective for that purpose. The fitting bracket is all plastic. Four small plastic push pins go through the board, the bracket is put on next and you have to pay attention to the orientation if you have capacitors near the CPU. Four plastic wedges are next to secure the bracket top the board. Because the cooler is very lightweight, this is adequate. The heat sink comes with some pre-applied thermal compound and the amount is somewhat generous. When I came to remove the cooler after my fault finding, there was significant excess compound to be cleaned off. It is the usual thick, grey stuff and the ArctiClean 1+2 kit was just what was needed. Please note that there is one fitting issue not mentioned in the leaflet. This cooler MAY NOT FIT on certain ASUS motherboards with the ROG shield. The plastic shield gets in the way of the heat pipes on the cooler. Once the shield is removed, the cooler fits perfectly. I had this issue on my ASUS Maximus IX Formula board when the ROG shield was fitted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for cheap price ! As always - very fast delivery. Very quiet, easy to install. Cannot hear it working in my computer!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good cooler! It does perform much better, than a stock cooler for sure. Ideal for miniITX builds. It's cooling my i7 6700 nicely. Price/performance is very good. Just do not consider overclocking with it, because once fan starts spinning in high RPMs you can hear it. Overall happy with the product. Much better than stock and cheap as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Arctic Cooler Fan Replaced an Intel stock cooler which failed after five years. The new fan is quiet and keeps the cpu temperature well within limits. My PC is not used for gaming.
