real-time feedbackEach jog wheel on the AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ boasts a full-color display, giving you real-time feedback on track info, performance mode, and even the song's artwork. You can tweak the feel of each jog wheel independently, adjusting from light and fast to hard and heavy.
Dedicated buttons toggle Vinyl mode instantly, with additional control through the Vinyl Speed adjustment on each deck. The XDJ-AZ also offers versatile Key Sync and Beat Sync capabilities, along with pitch-bend and tempo-range tools, letting you craft a performance that’s uniquely yours.

16 performance padsAs the DJ landscape continues to grow and innovate, AlphaTheta ensures a perfect blend of tradition and modern creativity with the XDJ-AZ. Featuring 16 performance pads (eight per side), this controller offers endless possibilities for creativity and expression, from specific deck setups to versatile Cue, Loop, and Jump modes. The new Gate Cue mode allows for Hot Cues to be activated only when pressing the assigned pad, adding a fresh layer to your DJing.
The XDJ-AZ’s 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen is a major upgrade, allowing you to view up to 13 tracks at once, surpassing the previous XDJ-XZ’s eight-track display. Additionally, the Playlist Bank feature lets you instantly access up to four playlists, ensuring seamless performance with the right tracks always at your fingertips.
