Each new design from Allen & Heath aims to take another step towards creating the perfect mixing experience. At the heart of the SQ-5 is a high-res 7” capacitive touchscreen, surrounded by a variety of illuminated encoders to give an intuitive, user friendly and integrated blend of easy to see visual feedback and instant hands on control.
Each channel and each mix is able to be moved with a simple ‘drag and drop’ process to any strip, alongside customised naming and colour coding, allowing you to tailor a mixing environment which lets you work how you want to work. Each strip features Allen & Heath’s patented chromatic channel metering system, allowing you an at-a-glance indicator of levels, thanks to the LED’s featuring adjustable brightness and colours.

From the 3-tier, full metal housing, to the extruded aluminium bar, the SQ is tough as nails, whilst at the same time remaining a beautiful desk to work with.

Allen & Heath have developed 2 utterly essential apps for the SQ range.
The ‘SQ MixPad’ for engineers, and ‘SQ4You’ for artists. SQ MixPad is a free to download app, for iOS, Android, Windows and macOS platforms, which provides handy suite for editing offline, and online wired or wireless control of the SQ’s main mixing functionalities.
‘SQ4You’ on the other hand is a personal mixing app to work alongside the SQ series mixers, which allows as many as 8 artists to have complete control over their mix in the monitors from Android or iOS devices, leaving the engineer to have total focus on the FOH sound.
Immense Processing Power
Create the perfect mix Allen & Heath’s new SQ-5 desk holds all the processing power you could need to produce the perfect mix, and more. Each of the 48 inputs has HPF, a high-speed gate with sidechain and filter, a musical 4-band parametric EQ and Peak/RMS compressor to give you maximum control and shaping of levels and transients. Mixes have parametric and 28 bands graphic EQ alongside compressor as standard, each of these ready to switch in when you need.

16 x 8 Audio Interface Stage BoxThe AB168 Portable Audiorack from Allen & Heath is a rugged audio interface stage box compatible with GLD and Qu digital mixing systems, and ideal for applications such as live sound and installations.
The unit features sixteen mic/line XLR inputs with pristine mic preamps and individual LED phantom power indicators, and eight XLR outputs. It connects to the mixer over a single Cat5 cable using the company's dSNAKE protocol, allowing for the inputs and outputs to be positioned at up to 393'/120m from the mixer. For larger systems, the expander port lets you daisy-chain an additional AB168 or AR2412 Audiorack, or interface with the ME personal monitor mixing system.

Lightweight at just 10.6 lb, and featuring a sturdy carry handle, the AB168 is also designed for maximum convenience and portability.
The unit can also be rackmounted using an optional kit (available separately), and auto updates its firmware to synchronize with the GLD system.

high-quality connectivityThe Custom Lynx flexible, drum mounted CAT5E cable system is made using Rean SFTP (Screened Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT5E cable and Rean etherCON connectors. Shielded RJ45 plugs are grounded to the etherCON shells on both ends. The drum itself is very solid and made from a hard solid plastic. It has a rubberised handle and brake feature on the back of the drum. The cable is very flexible and similar in feel to microphone cable. This cable is jet black in colour, with nickel silver coloured shell connectors. Available in a range of set lengths.
