Akasa AK-MX010v2, Dual 2.5" to 3.5" Bay Mounting, SSD/HDD, Aluminium Passive Cooler, Silent, Black is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good design The Akasa AK-MX010v2 was perfect for my requirement and was well engineered.
Date published: 2020-02-24
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Bad but Built really well, however its not suitable for all bays. As the unit has fixed holes, there is no room to adjust the fixing to a 3.5" bay. I had to use some old rail kit to get it to fit into the 5.25 bay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great extension kit This well designed piece of metal works perfectly with 2.5" drives. I've got an old laptop drive and my Crucial M4 SSD in it. The Crucial M4 is slightly too thick to fit at the bottom with the thermal tape but if the thermal tape is removed it works perfectly. To be honest there is no need for the thermal tape at all, it is a nice extra if your drive is slightly slimmer. Very well designed and robustly constructed so I feel like it is going to outlast almost all my other components. I haven't tested it to see how it fits into normal 3.5" drive bays or their tool-less cages so can't comment on whether it will be compatible with your case but for my needs, screwing it in, it works perfectly.
