Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's a bust (For me anyway) I ordered one to go with my new build, an Asus X99a mobo with an Intel i7 5820K 6 core. I'm running Windows 7 but I just couldn't get it to work so sent it back for a replacement and had the same issues the second time round. Checked the manufactures website and installed the latest drivers and still no joy. Sent it back and got a refund. Although it was royal pain SCAN made the whole return process very easy, the second time round I had UPS come in and collect and it was done within 1hr of booking it in, a day or two later and I was refunded. Now just need to find a better alternative?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Slots Too Short As with lots of these drives the makers have made the card slots too short which means if you are not very careful it is easy to bend the pins on the cf, it seems to be a common complaint and one I never had with earlier versions, lazy manufacturers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from USB 3.0 & card reader. It works with no problems other than the blue light is on all the time (would of been better if only on when in use). May be a fault but apart from that the unit works well.

A single USB3 cable and connector is perfect for simply plugging directly to the motherboard. It was simple to install and connect. I have not used it yet as I am still building my pc but it looks good

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Speedy The card reader is very easy to fit using the Motherboards USB3 header, works fine and is quite fast. This is the second one I have bought, the first in my primary PC & this one in a secondary desktop, so I must like them. My only reservation on the unit, and this seems to apply to the majority of 3.5 internal card readers is that the CF port is very shallow & care is needed on insertion of a CF Card, other slots on the unit are OK.
