Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it says it will, but wish it was a bit lighter Overall, it "does what it says on the tin" - bought as a replacement for a Kingston Universal adaptor that gave out a few weeks ago - and, to be fair, it cost roughly the same as that one did in 2007, so I shouldn't be moaning about the cost (but it is still a lot for a PSU). Surprised it didn't come with the tips for either of my laptops (Toshiba NB and ASUS netbook) but we'll see how the "Free Tip" offer works,... PSU itself weighs in at about the same as the Kingston it replaced - but the *cables* weigh a ton! beware that the total "bag weight" of this is around 750g, 250g heavier than the dead Kingston. Also, unlike the Kingston, it comes with 2 separate cables for Air and Car, rather than an empower (plane) cable and an empower->car adaptor, and that, together with the "weighty" 13A moulded cable, makes it a bulkier and heavier replacement than I'd hoped. It's the cheapest option that ticks all the boxes, and it does do everything that it says it will, but I wish it were either a bit cheaper, or a *lot* lighter. (And, yes, I *do* fly on Low-Cost airlines quite a lot, hence the preoccupation with the weight of my laptop bag!)
