Corsair HX750i Power Supply 80PLUS - Platinum

Corsair HXi 750W Power Supply

This HXi Series power supply from Corsair has a total power output of 750W, other advantages to the HX750i are that it gives you extremely tight voltage control virtually silent operation, and a fully modular cable set. The 80PLUS Platinum efficiency rating and Zero RPM Fan Mode mean that at low to medium loads, the fan doesn’t spin at all. And when you do push the HXi hard, the thermally controlled fan spins only as fast as it needs to. Even when the fan isn't running the HX750i has specially selected components to reduce electronic noise for a near silent PSU.

750W Corsair HX750i, 80PLUS Platinum, Full Modular, SLI/CrossFire, Single Rail, 62.5A +12V, 1x140mm Fan, ATX PSU is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect PSU Big fan of this PSU, hardly ever hear it when it does kick on, really easy to install and modular cable set makes it easy to hook up. Would absolutely recommend if you want a quiet PSU that does the job

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent premium PSU which so far has been completely silent Felt a bit torn when ordering this PSU as I've previously favoured the Dark Power series from BeQuiet, but having read the reviews of others on Scan I decided to give this model a go. I have to say I've been very impressed. Build quality is first rate and power draw certainly seems efficient for what I'm getting it to power: an i9 9900K in an ASUS Z390M TUF m/b, 64GB RAM, a couple of SSDs and HDDs, together with a new GTX 1660 Ti. There is a self test which briefly spins the fan, so I know that it works, but apart from that the fan on the PSU hasn't spun up once. Even under a fairly heavy load the PSU gets slightly warn at best, and clearly doesn't seem to generate any waste heat requiring assistance from the fan. This behaviour seems quite exceptional to me, and I will certainly be recommending these over my previously preferred Dark Power models going forward. Cables are all modular and come in a nice pouch type bag, to store any you don't use in, which is a nice touch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly awesome product, build quality is fantastic Amazing PSU - the heart of your build, why scrimp on this? Comes with plenty of cabling for different cards and HDs etc. Very very quiet aswell!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good build and silent operation Replaced an older Corsair 650 can't fair the quality and would always opt for Corsair PSU first time every time

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Power to the people Generally a PSU is a PSU, right, so there's not a lot to say, but this device does have a couple of nice features. 1. So far, even under load I've not had the fan kick in. So overall I'd call this a silent PSU. Right now it's sat at 33C and the fan at 0rpm 2. The Corsair Link is not essential, but it is a nice to have for monitoring what's going on with the PSU (in terms of the previously mentioned two stats) If I had to pick a couple of faults... The modular connectors on the PSU could be better labelled. It would also be nice if the Link cable could be made a little thinner. If I was going to REALLY nitpick, then the included cables could be better quality and they could supply dedicated 6 and 8 pin PCIe cables rather than the split kind - but all the above faults are the same across almost every manufacturer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully packaged, excellent monitoring software and very quiet I've needed a replacement for my aging Coolmaster 750W psu as it was beginning to cause issues with my GTX 980ti. My criteria for a new psu was primarily stable power, reliability and the ability to monitor voltages. With the Corsair HX750 it managed to fulfil all these expectations admirably. The PSU itself is very quiet and provides rock solid performance across a varied load range, temperatures were more than acceptable and the Corsair link software and usb link has come along in leaps and bounds since it's update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality and performance This well-made power supply is efficient, quiet and does everything it says on the tin. The "no fan" low-power operation is a bonus of those wanting a quiet PC. Voltage stability is excellent and the Link software enables you to see exactly what's going on. A first class product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommended for capability and quality. Get this product. Do not skimp on your power supply... This may seem unimportant at first glance, but if your power supply dies it can kill your entire computer. This power supply allows you to monitor the performance of it in terms of efficiency, power draw from the grid and power production for the computer. Everything about this PSU is made with quality and stability in mind and I would not hesitate to recommend this range of PSU's to anyone looking for a high quality product. If you cheap out on a power supply, one day you will regret it. Trust me, I have experience of this with cheap brands.

would this be able to connect to the 8pin and 4pin cpu power connectors

on the ASUS ROG Crosshair VII HERO motherboard
Asked by: Braedon
Yes, you get all the cables you need for GPUs requiring either one or both (8 and 4 pin) power connections.
