700W ACE Black with Red Fan, Fully Wired, Single Rail, 34A +12V, 1x120mm Fan, ATX PSU is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Failed Lasted a year, then started to fail. There's a dry joint in there somewhere. Standby (while PC is off) will flick on/off if the machine is tapped. Also get a lot of power off fails.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tidy, near-silent, working fine. May need more connectors. Exactly as described, working beautifully and as quiet as you'd hope. Only complaint is that I had to dig out some extra wiring and get a little inventive to get everything connected up, because this thing's got rather fewer cables sticking out of it than the (7-year-old) one it replaced. It's tidier, if you don't need all those connectors, but there were "argh" moments.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money I bought two of these. One to be kept as a spare and one to be used to replace a good working power supply that had a noisy fan. The computer is a fairly standard ATX tower although some 8 years old. I replaced the supply but, unfortunately it did not switch on so I tried the other supply with the same result. I then cannibalised a computer in my workshop and used that power supply which worked perfectly. I sent both supplies back to Scan who refunded although their engineer found no problem but they certainly did not work for me. As a hardware support specialist since 1974 and having changed hundreds of PSUs in the last 15 years or so, I feel qualified to say that while these may work under certain circumstances, if you want a supply that will work in any situation, you would be better off looking elsewhere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good budget model After a PSU/HDD/Motherboard failure I was looking to get a PSU as cheap as I could and as quick as I could. Scan delivered very quickly and this model, while the most basic budget model, easily powered up the new system. It has a decent set of connectors given the price and the reach seems enough for most cases and boards. All in all you cannot argue for the money. It does not seem to be going to last as long as my old PSU but that was a Tagan that I paid a fair bit for. Given the price difference this has more bang for your buck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent service from scan I was most impressed by the performance of this power supply which was a replacement for a failed one in my pc. Googling the part number of the old supply took me to a page which identified the power supply, noted that it was obsolete and suggested a suitable replacement - impressive. The new power supply gives 50 more watts and works perfectly - in fact some annoying issues with crackly sound that I had assumed were caused by my speakers went away with the new supply and my computer sound is now crystal clear!
