The 6TB WD Ae is a high-quality DATACENTER HDD that delivers incredible performance thanks to its easy to use 3.5 inch form factor that is just 26.1 mm in height, the drive has a rotation speed of 5760 rpm. The WD Ae HDD’s technical highlight is it’s 6Gb/s interface, which is the latest SATA III standard. This drive in particular has a storage capacity of 6TB and has a 64MB Cache.

Dual Actuator Technology
A head positioning system with two actuators that improves positional accuracy over the data track(s). The primary actuator provides coarse displacement using conventional electromagnetic actuator principles. The secondary actuator uses piezoelectric motion to fine tune the head positioning to a higher degree of accuracy.
3D Active Balance Plus
Our enhanced dual-plane balance control technology significantly improves the overall drive performance and reliability.
