Product Overview VS550: The Entry-Level 240V Power Supply With High-End Features
The Corsair VS550 is a great choice if you're building a home or office system with lower power demands, but you still demand the compatibility and reliability that Corsair is known for.

Real Power
The VS550 delivers a guaranteed 550 Watts of continuous power. With 0.99 Active Power Factor Correction, you get the peace of mind from knowing that your components are protected from uneven power delivery. And, a dedicated single +12V rail saves you from the hassle of balancing your components across multiple power cables.

Low Noise, High Efficiency
The 120mm fan is thermally controlled, so it only spins at maximum speed when it's pushed hard - and even at full load, it's pretty quiet. Smart design features like this are why VS550 offers up to 85% efficiency. Your PC system will generate less heat, and you'll enjoy lower energy bills.

Sophisticated Design
The black powder-coated enclosure and the black-sleeved cables give any system a polished look. You're building a PC, not a battleship, and with the VS550 you can avoid that look of unpainted steel that you'll find on so many entry-level power supplies. Features • A dedicated single +12V rail offers maximum compatibility with the latest components.
• Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) with PF value of 0.99.
• AC input from 200~240VAV.
• Over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, and short circuit protection provide maximum safety for your critical system components.
• High-quality capacitors provide uncompromised performance and reliability.
• Safety Approvals: cTUVus, CE, CB, FCC Class B, TÜV, CCC, C-tick.
• Conforms to ATX12V v2.31 standard, and is backward compatible with the ATX12V 2.2 and ATX12V 2.01 standards.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worth considering. Flawless ordering and delivery as usual. :) Normally i would not even consider a corsair psu but i needed an emergency replacement and as my planned Ryzen upgrade is a few months off yet, i did not want to spend too much right now. Fitted ok and powered up fine with AIDA64 showing voltages within spec - Voltage Values +3.3 V 3.364 V +5 V 5.070 V +12 V 12.096 V I dont trust corsair psu's quality so i will be keeping an eye on those voltages constantly. I will rate this low but it is a cheap unit bought in an emergency and it is working with voltages within spec.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy this It had ruined my performance totally. I had an off brand PSU before this that cut out regularly just total power gone. I prefer that one it might of cut but at least it actually kept my performance while it's on. I will be refunding both and not buying cheap again. I recommend no one buys this

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I recommend the product, but the company could've done better. The product works great (Although my original was faulty). It runs great in my machine, especially being as my machine only pulls around 350 watts under huge load. Although this is rated as a bad power supply, i think it works great if you're not using power hungry GPU'S / CPU'S.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great (once I fixed it). I experienced the same problem as Brett did in his review - the fan made a loud scraping sound when the system was under load. After reading his review, I used a tool to pull the central disc of the fan cover out by less than a millimetre, and the fan is now almost silent and the whole unit is doing it's job well. It seems strange that 2 refurbished fans have exhibited this same problem - they mustn't test them with the fans facing downwards (it worked fine with the fan facing upwards).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It does the job It is a power supply. It isn't sexy. It doesn't have (or need) fancy modular cables, especially in a standard PC with a motherboard, graphics card, 1 HDD and 1 optical. Just cable tie the unused cables out of the way and save yourself £40. So all in all, pretty unexciting, exactly as a PSU should be. This is my second refurbished Corsair PSU, and they seem reliable

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value Refurb You could mistake this for a brand new Power Supply. No marks what so ever and the cables even look new. Unfortunately the casing above/below (whichever way it goes in YOUR case) was slightly bent in, making it scrape badly. 10 second job, just put my mortis key in the gaps along the supports of the fan cover and bent it up slightly. Popped it back in with its new clearance and now its completely silent and powering my overclocked I7-3770k nicely. Hopefully for years to come (CPU getting long in the tooth at 4 years old).

What PCIE connectors does this come with?

Know the spec says 2x 6pin, however some websites has said 2 x 6 +2 pin?
Asked by: Tomaslondon
Hello, This should just have the 2 x 6 pin connectors included. Regards,
