Product Overview Versatile PoE Capability
Powered by 24V passive PoE or a power adapter, the EdgeRouter™ X features a passive PoE passthrough option* to power an airMAX® device.

Gigabit Connectivity
The EdgeRouter™ X provides five independent, Gigabit RJ45 ports that are configurable for switching.

Centralized Management
The EdgeRouter™ X SFP is supported and managed by UNMS™ (Ubiquiti® Network Management System), a comprehensive controller with an intuitive UI. A single control plane manages registered EdgeMAX® devices across multiple sites.

**Please note these ship with EU Adaptors in the box but we will supply a EU to UK convertor LN9512 (there is no offical UK model) also the device can be powered by POE Features Model: ER-X

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great little router! This is fabulous little bit of kit - worthy of having in the "bat-belt" for those, "If only I had a ... moments". Lots of very informative stuff on the web in regard to configs etc. Terrific value for money, SCAN delivery excellent!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A small technical marvel at an amazing price. Can't speak highly enough about this product, Ideal for anyone who wants or needs something a cut above the typical home router. Bought to replace an ancient home built router (Smoothwall Express) owing to failing RAM. I'm really impressed, it's every bit as configurable as that massive box, and uses a fraction of the power. Not much else to say, it's undoubtedly the best router at this price point, even if it's not the easiest to initially configure. The documentation at the maker's website is comprehensive, and there is an active community there if you hit issues.

If this module is powered with a PSU, can it provide PoE?

I want to use a Ubiquiti PoE access point but don't currently have PoE capability, so will this allow that?
