The Doctor Mix mastering house (www.doctormix.com) has been working with Scan systems for a number of years now and during their last studio refresh came back for an all-new system to kit out the new room.
Looking to replace an ageing Intel-based machine whilst also looking for a well tested future-facing solution including great Thunderbolt support, we choose to work with the best value i9 to meet these requirements as it was the direct descendant of the old system chip and assured the best ongoing compatibility with the other hardware already to be found in the Doctor Mix studio. This specification has since been updated with the newest CPU model in order to reflect the current Intel range.
Fitted with 64GB of RAM and multiple large M.2's for the OS and Project work, the system is designed to be fast and responsive, helping to ensure that even the most complex of sessions should prove a breeze to work with. Everything is built into the be quiet! 601 case which itself ships with the companies own superb cooling fans and are amongst some of the best low noise cooling options available today when it comes to striking a balance between performance and maintaining the serenity in your studio.
