There’s a lot more to High Definition than just having the ability to run your screen at the right resolution. With more than one type of connection available, and the thorny subject of signal encryption to contend with, just because your monitor and graphics are capable of 1,920 x 1,080 or better does not necessarily mean they will be able to display HDTV in all its glory.

Questions & Answers

Will this work for 1920 x 1080p @ 60hz?

Will this work for 1920 x 1080p @ 60hz? Do I need a dual link for 1080p @ 60hz?
Asked by: Samrees21
It will be compatible with 1920 x 1080p @ 60hz but it is recommended that you use a normal DVI cable which supports High Definition image aswell. The only reason it is recommended is because Dual link supports 144hz which it also supports 60hz but the price for cable could be more
