The arrival of the solid-state drive (SSD) has revolutionised the speed at which modern PCs perform common tasks. This is because SSDs have no moving parts, compared to larger, bulkier mechanical drives, thus they store information on memory chips. This means that accesses, reads and writes are many, many times faster

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Installing Great product. Google and install the Samsung NVMe driver for Windows. The built-in Windows one cripples performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the job Just what I was looking for to build a computer from scratch. Doing its job perfectly so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic! This is my second SM961. One in my laptop and one in my desktop. Both use Windows 10 drivers and both give 3000MB/s Read and 1500MB/s Writes. Don't bother with a 960 Evo as it's nowhere near as fast in real world. And the 960 Pro is much more expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well Fitted a 256gb M.2 to my PC which is has an Asus Z170-k mobo and used MiniTool Partition Wizard to transfer my OS (Win10Pro) to it. It all worked very well and is now starting, running and closing much quicker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sooooo fast! I bought this to add into a Scan 3XS PC. The provided recovery software rebuilt the PC easily and now I have a modern gaming PC which starts up almost instantly. Perfect for someone like me who doesn't leave the PC on all of the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent performance I got this drive for a month now, it's performing great. Installation is trivial. My gigabyte motherboard with AMD Ryzen has detected drive straight away, I installed Windows 10 on it in less than half an hour. Benchmark is showing 3400 MB/s read and 1500 MB/s write, that's even better than what specification is saying. I am really happy with this product, so far is working perfectly, system is SO FAST with it. I am highly recommend this product, especially that you can buy it with Bitcoins in Scan shop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightning Fast SSD Product works as expected. An M.2 NVMe SSD will feel lightning fast in comparison to a SATA SSD. Would highly recommend spending the extra amount. The difference is comparable to going from a HDD to SSD!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and affordable A great little drive, installed in my new system (ryzen 1600x, msi b350 tomahawk arctic) as a boot drive. Its fast, even compared to my old 840 evo. I would definitely recommend this drive.
