Just plugged it in, plugged the network cables in and it just worked. Very sturdy. Comes with brackets to attach to server cabinet. Highly recommended for home or small office use, and if you are a networking novice.

What version is this, v1, v2 or v3?

GS724T has three versions. The three versions can be identified by the serial number of the unit. GS724Tv1 serial numbers start with GST7, 12N. GS724Tv2 serial numbers start with GS72, 16B, 1C0. GS724Tv3 serial number start with 23H, 2ME.
