Filter in. Dust out. Keeping the heatsinks free of dust and debris is critical to maintaining optimal thermal dissipation. Dust filters help keep gunk away from the fan blades, heatsink fins, and other cooling components to prevent build-up over time, increasing stability and reliability.
Liquid Metal Cooling The liquid metal compound from Thermal Grizzly reduces CPU temperatures by up to 13°C compared to standard thermal paste. Applying it onto CPUs is delicate work, so ROG commissioned custom equipment to automate the process with mechanical precision, and designed a patented internal fence to contain the compound.
Arc Flow Fans ASUS' 84 blade Arc Flow fans vary in thickness from base to tip to maximize airflow, capped by a special aerodynamic wave pattern that minimises turbulence and noise. With 0dB Technology, the fans switch off completely when CPU and GPU temperatures drop below 50°C in the Silent operating mode for truly inaudible cooling under light workloads.
Six Secure HeatpipesThese heatpipes pull heat away from not only the CPU, GPU and VRAM, but also the VRM circuitry supplying them with power. Reducing the temperature of these components helps improve long-term stability and reliability.
Ultra Thin for The WinThermal energy is dissipated by four heatsinks in the flanks. Each one is lined with ultra-thin fins as slim as 0.1mm, allowing higher density and lower air resistance than typical fins. 256 heatsink fins totaling 103,385.5mm² of surface area guide airflow in multiple directions and minimise interference from the ErgoLift design.
