Product Overview The wide body, low-pitch blades of the SP120 fans combined with the custom housing provides outstanding static pressure and airflow through heatsinks or radiators. With rubberized corners, a quiet and reliable Advanced Hydraulic Bearing, and PWM support for increased fan speed control, the SP120 truly is the strong, silent type.

Included in the box are the three user-replaceable colored rings, in red, blue, and white, so you can customize your fan to match your case’s components. Each fan also features blacked-out wires and connectors, so your build looks elegant and clean when done. Available in single and twin packs.
Features • The SP120 High Performance Edition, at full RPM, has outstanding static pressure, up to 3.1mm/H2O, when used on a radiator or heatsink.
• 4-PIN PWM Support for increased fan speed control
• Seven wide body, low-pitch custom blades for optimal static pressure at very low noise levels.
• Custom fan enclosure for ducting air in the right direction with minimal interference.
• Advanced Hydraulic Bearing for reliable, quiet operation.
• Rubberized corners for sound damping when installed with standard screws.
• User-replaceable colored rings so you can match your fans to your case

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.

System Noise Reduction
Date Issued: 5th Mar 2007

Anybody who has been near their share of computer systems will appreciate that not all systems make the same amount of noise. There are a number of reasons for why this is so. Firstly, a computer makes noise for different reasons. Generally, anything mechanical is going to make noise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Another Great Product From Corsair I have been going for a full liquid cooling setup and these are by far the best fans I can recommend, they come with a chouice of white, Red and Blue Circular accents to allow you to customize the look for your case, They work great . There are two versions of these fans and these are the high performance models allbeit slightly noiser than the quiet editition but they move nearly twice the air ideal for a highly tuned machine where noise isnt a concern, Great Product 01 March 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Nice to have the different coloured rings to suite your other components. 06 February 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does what it says on the box There isn't really much to say about this. If you want a high air flow fan/fans then this is your product, after shopping around I can safely say I haven't found another fan that comes close in terms of pure air flow... oh and they're pretty quiet considering too. 18 August 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by New X-99 Build These fans are simply fantastic. I have 4 of them, using them with a H100iGTX cooler in push AND pull configuration. Idle temps sit at 23-25 degrees, and after a few hours gaming on GTA V, temps are at around 35-39 degrees. They are near silent too when used with ASUS fan expert software. 22 April 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by A cautious recommendation The fans themselves on paper are cracking, however while installing in my Air 540 I had issues with the screws provided and the rubberised mounting system on the inside of the fan frame. Twice I was forced to reseat the screws to get a good fit, which in both cases ended up ruining the hard rubber to the point of it being useless. Otherwise, the fans themselves are a little loud, but have great airflow. 27 December 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent performance Currently i am using 6 of these fans on my water cooling radiator, the option to swap between 3 colours if good. It would be nice if there was a 140mm version of the sp120 to match for 140mm fan slots. 19 December 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Quieter than expected Purchased the twin pack to upgrade my Corsair H60 (old model) to push/pull. Changed to intake at the same time (as recommended) and the overall performance is much improved. What I didn't expect is that the overall noise has not increased significantly. Unfortunately, the 2 year guarantee does not compare well with other brands such as Noctua. Pleased overall though. 20 November 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 120mm Corsair Air Series SP120 PWM High Performance Edition Used two of the 2350rpm versions of this fan to replace two Scythe Gentle Typhoons that had previously been push-pull cooling my CPU watercooling system's radiator. The Corsair's have higher throughput and cooling ability than the Scythes - and they themselves were no slouches (both of which I've anyway relocated within my PC's case to further improve cooling). Since installation I've been very pleased with the performance of the Corsairs; & would recommend them to anyone looking for a high performance PC case air-cooling solution. 17 July 2014
