Enjoy quiet operation with seven silence-optimized fan blades that provide high airflow and low noise-generating turbulences. The operation is almost silent with a max of 31dB(A) at 2,500rpm. Utilize excellent durability with a long life rifle-bearing that offers an operating lifetime of 60,000 hours, along with a three-year manufacturer's warranty.
Lots of Illumination Possibilities
IMPRESSIVE LIGHTINGLight Wings 120mm PWM high-speed offers ARGB lighting at the front and rear. The subtly lit ring at the back combined with the bright one at the front make for a magnificent appearance from every angle. 18 ARGB LEDs give you many opportunities to individualize your PC build.
Fan Blades Optimized for High Pressure
FOR RADIATORS AND HEATSINKSWith a remarkably high air pressure of up to 2.6mm/H2O, Light Wings 120mm PWM high-speed is the best choice for water-cooled and air-cooled systems alike. The nine airflow-optimized fan blades provide enough air pressure to make this fan perfect, even in demanding configurations.
Acclaimed be quiet! Low Noise Level
QUIET OPERATIONA highly optimized impeller achieves the silent operation be quiet! is famous for. With a noise level of 31dB(A) at maximum fan speed, it proves that instead of being a replacement the lighting is an addon to silent and very powerful operation. All features combine to make Light Wings 120mm PWM high-speed the fan of choice for silent show cases and gaming systems alike.
Adjusts the Fan Speed and Associated Noise Level
VARIABLE FAN SPEED FUNCTIONPulse Width Modulation (PWM) allows compatible 4-pin controllers, including those built into many motherboards, to intelligently vary the speed and thus the noise level of the fan. With PWM the system can ramp up the cooling when it’s needed, or operate in maximum quiet mode when it’s not.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.

Anybody who has been near their share of computer systems will appreciate that not all systems make the same amount of noise. There are a number of reasons for why this is so. Firstly, a computer makes noise for different reasons. Generally, anything mechanical is going to make noise.
