Vendor Marketing Manager

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Vendor Marketing Manager to lead and develop our Vendor Marketing function at Scan.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the day-to-day management of the Vendor Marketing team, ensuring that all vendor-funded activity is accurately briefed, executed on time, tracked correctly, and successfully claimed. You will oversee campaigns across key strategic brands including NVIDIA, Intel, AMD, Corsair & Microsoft, playing a central role in maintaining strong vendor relationships and delivering commercially effective marketing activity.

In addition to managing the team’s workload, you will directly run campaigns with assigned brands and take joint responsibility for the financial health of Vendor Marketing alongside senior stakeholders. This includes oversight of budgets, claims, invoices and ensuring all activity is accurately recorded for audit purposes.

This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration across marketing, commercial and finance teams, as well as proactive communication with vendor partners to ensure alignment, compliance and successful campaign delivery.

This is a full-time, office-based position (Monday–Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 with a 1-hour lunch) at our head office in Enterprise Park, Middlebrook, Horwich, Bolton (BL6 6PE). Applicants should live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate.

The Role
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day workload of the Vendor Marketing team
  • Ensure all vendor campaigns are correctly briefed, tracked and delivered on time
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project tracking Trello boards and documentation
  • Oversee and manage vendor marketing budgets in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Ensure claims, invoices and supporting documentation are submitted accurately and on time
  • Work closely with Finance to mitigate audit risks and resolve payment issues
  • Act as a key point of contact for vendor partners where account-related issues arise
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with strategic brands including NVIDIA, Intel, AMD, Corsair and Microsoft.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing departments to ensure campaigns are fully integrated and commercially effective
  • Monitor campaign performance and ensure vendor objectives are met
The Candidate

You will be an experienced marketing professional with a strong understanding of vendor-funded marketing within the technology or PC hardware industry.

Essential experience:

  • Proven experience working with major technology brands
  • Experience managing budgets and financial tracking
  • Demonstrable experience managing or mentoring a team
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally

Desirable:

  • Experience working within a fast-paced e-commerce or retail environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of performance marketing
  • Experience using project management or workflow tools

This is a full-time, office-based role at our Bolton HQ. Some flexibility to work from home may be available in pre-agreed circumstances.
