We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Administrator to join our purchasing team. The Purchasing Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operations of our purchasing department involving tasks related to rebate and price protection management, as well as facilitating clear communication between various departments to support the purchasing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rebate and Price Protection Management. Accurately log and maintain records of rebates and price protections.
- Claim rebates in a timely and efficient manner to maximize cost savings.
- Collaborate with purchasers and vendors to understand rebate terms and conditions.
- Verify and reconcile rebates, resolving any discrepancies as needed.
- Work closely with the purchasing team to track and chase outstanding orders.
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Monitor order status and proactively address any issues that may impact delivery timelines.
- Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to purchasing orders and deliveries.
The Candidate:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both internal teams and external vendors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High quality and professional communication skills.
