Kao Data operates hyperscale datacentres in the UK, built on decades of experience providing customers with flexibility across the infrastructure layer and removing inefficiencies for workloads including AI, HPC and cloud. The Harlow campus is also the home of NVIDIA's Cambridge-1 supercomputer, which has now become part of their DGX Cloud offering.

Kao Data Locations

Kao Data's datacentres are all carrier neutral facilities and ideally located to the east and west of London, in Harlow, Northolt and Slough. All feature high-density, ultra-low latency fibre routes providing connectivity into the city, and onwards into international Tier 1 markets. The Harlow facility is also uniquely positioned to provide access to the diverse USA – Dublin - Amsterdam route, without needing to cross London. For the research and scientific communities prevalent within the Cambridge-London 'UK Innovation Corridor', access to the super-fast Janet network is key, linking the Harlow campus with thousands of research institutes and science parks both locally and globally.

A new datacentre, proposed for the Greater Manchester borough of Stockport, is expected to become operational in late 2025.
