What is a Qualified Educational Institution?

Education Pricing Eligibility Requirements:

  • A public or not for profit K-12, vocational school, junior college, college, university, scientific or technical institution with a primary focus on teaching students.
  • For use by students or employees of an education institution with .edu or .ac email addresses
  • If .edu or .ac are not in email domain then the institutions name should be clearly recognizable as educational affiliation.
  • State or local government-sanctioned agencies that purchase on behalf of a pool of school districts, community colleges, or other small educational institutions are also eligible
  • Organizations and people directly related to the academic institution (e.g. hospitals that are wholly owned and operated by an education institution) are also eligible.
  • For-profit institutions (e.g. training centres that operate a business) as well as students, teachers, lecturers, researchers and tutors affiliated with such institutions are not eligible

What to Expect

  • To apply, you need to have an NVIDIA account that uses your business email. If you don't have an NVIDIA account, enter your business email address and you'll be guided through the steps to create one before starting the application.
  • For the best experience, please use Google Chrome to complete your application. Our application system is not supported on Safari or Firefox at this time.
  • Applications take about 10 minutes to complete and must be submitted in English.
  • Please allow up to 10 business days for us to review your application. We'll send you an email when it's approved, rejected, or if we need more information.
  • Be sure to have information about your company ready, including funding details, investor information, and your company pitch deck (PDF format).
  • There are no equity requirements, application costs, or membership fees.
  • You'll need to accept the Terms and Conditions to submit your application.

Minimum Requirements

  • You need to provide unique contact information for one developer and one business executive.
  • Email aliases (e.g., [email protected]) and generic domains (e.g., gmail.com) are not accepted. If your NVIDIA account uses one of these email types, you'll need to create a new one with the business email that you want to use for your program application.
  • To qualify for membership, your company needs to:
    • Employ at least one developer
    • Maintain a working website
    • Be officially incorporated
    • Be less than 10 years old
  • The following types of organizations do not qualify for membership:
    • Consulting and outsourced development firms
    • Companies associated with cryptocurrency
    • Cloud service providers
    • Resellers and distributors
    • Public companies
