About Ashun Sound Machines
Ashun Sound Machines (ASM) is about creating musical instruments that empower musicians to unleash their creativity and expressiveness. With a diverse team made up of industry veterans, DSP specialists and synthesizer enthusiasts, ASM develop fun, intuitive and most importantly incredible sounding instruments, striving to break barriers to bring powerful engine and high-quality musical instruments to the market.
ASM currently have four models of the Hydrasynth, all with unique form factors that are designed to suit any setup.
ASM Polytouch
Polytouch® is a polyphonic aftertouch solution that can be integrated in standard and mid-sized key-beds, designed by ASM and manufactured by their mother company Medeli. The patented Polytouch® technology offers excellent response, high precision, and exceptional durability, all at a very cost-effective price. ASM are proud to offer it as a solution for both semi-weighted standard and semi-weighted mid-sized key-bed configurations, with custom octave spans to fit a wide range of keyboard products. ASM has proven the responsiveness and durability of the Polytouch® system in all of their award winning Hydrasynth keyboard products.
Polytouch® enabled key-beds gives customers an expressive performance platform with a natural feel, that does not require learning a new playing technique. The glowing customer and media reviews that all of the Hydrasynth models have received, is proof of the superior feel and playability of Polytouch®.
An important part of ensuring the highest quality of Polytouch® enabled key-beds, is the thorough production process. Meticulous engineering, assembly, and a final detailed calibration routine, provides the highest level of quality assurance. This is all done with the utmost care at the Medeli factory in Zhuhai, China using highly sophisticated machinery, ensuring flawless operation and providing equal response across all the keys in the key-bed.

Hydrasynth Desktop/Rack
The HYDRASYNTH Desktop/Rack has the same great sound engine as the Hydrasynth Keyboard, sharing the reputation as a sound designer’s dream synth and a performing musician’s ideal. The sound engine is designed for maximum flexibility and power, while the user interface has been crafted for simplicity and instant access. Its many workflow shortcuts let you edit a patch quickly with a minimal amount of paging.
With an advanced wavetable synthesis engine, three Oscillators, dual Wave Mutants, and two filters that can be configured in series or parallel, the tone generating capabilities are unmatched.
