Chassis Airflow
Chassis Airflow
Date Issued: 20th Oct 2008

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. Reviews
Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall Good Case I was expecting this to be a mediocre case, seeing as it lies at the cheaper end of the selection. But I was pleasantly surprised at the look and quality of the case. Also the cable management is really useful during the building process. 02 November 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good Enough Pros: Price. Good cable management. Decent look. Cons: The drive mounting is poorly done. The graphics card blocks access to to the HDD cage, which is a single unit with no SSD mounts. The fans that come with are the old 3-pin style, so new motherboards cannot control them. No noise reduction in the case. Overall, the case works, but as it is the biggest and most noticable piece of your rig, I recommend splashing out the extra 25 quid and getting something high quality. 15 November 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Does everything you need. Great case for the money has everything you need plenty of room, good ventalation, usb 3 a couple of case fans all for under £40 you really cant argue with that. 29 October 2013
