Rated 5 out of 5 by Blackavar A large case that gives plenty of room to build
Bought this to replace my ageing and slightly damaged Antec 900 case, having recently crammed a full ATX mainboard in there for the first time in a few core replacements. Getting everything to fit required an almost complete tear-down of the machine, and I decided to shop around for something that would be less painful to assemble next time. Cue the Phantom 530.
The move from the Antec 900 to the Phantom 530 was quick and easy. The cable management features of the Phantom are good, and the overall quality of the case is fantastic. I am, a couple of weeks on, getting a slight vibration noise from somewhere but if I'm gaming it's not loud enough to be noticeable. I'll pin it down and tighten whichever screw isn't quite locked down.
I would say that the case is big, mainly wide - wider than it looked in the pictures, anyway. Not really a problem for me, but if you're moving from a fairly standard mid-tower case to this, check the actual dimensions to make sure you have enough room.
