Rated 5 out of 5 by from Effective but not rich in features Using this as a 4G LTE modem to access Vodafone on an unlimited max SIM in Cumbria where the BT broadband is slow (2/0.5). This has sped up our internet (25/25 at peak) allowing several zoom calls over the home network at the same time. Had to buy a MIMO antenna separately to get all bars lit. This does the job, however it's difficult to see who's using all the data - we crunched through 100GB in 20 days between 3 and 8 of us. Router function works (DHCP) but no evident firewall in this mode - leaving questions around network security.

Connecting

Can I connect it straight to my router in bridge mode so it provides 4g connection and my router looks after dhcp?

Short answer is yes, I configured my Synology NAS as a DHCP server using the LB2120 as the default gateway and is worked - sort of fine. I say sort of - as for some reason the LB2120 was intermittently serving IP addresses as well as the Synology so some devices were on a different subnet to the main home network. Still scratching my head to work out why and how to address this (have reverted to using the LB2120 as router and problem goes away - however there isn't a firewall in there so feel quite exposed).
